Same job...same money.....same distance (when current office base moves in about 4 months). Different boss, different team, quicker but more polluted journey to work.

The good news is my tyres aren't illegal :j:j:j:j:j
the not so good news is that there is 1mm of tread. That's not a lot is it! May need to get them changed in the next couple of weeks. May have a good look at them next week and rather than getting all 4 changed, get them moved around. Although £200 for four didn't strike me as bad.

Have just booked my flights and my accommodation is with a friend. Already looking forward to that.
Nothing much else to tell.
Have had a good couple of weekends in Amsterdam and Sheffield seeing lots of old friends and some that are not pensionable too! Got chatted up by two blokes when I was up north for the last beer festival. Have the telephone number of one, but he lives 100 miles away. Can't decide whether we should meet up for a date, whether I should look on a map and let out a big sigh or whether I should bin it. I can't see me moving anywhere for a couple of years and then, given the way the current Government is going, I'll probably have to move to Scotland. Having said that I haven't had a date for about 3 years so it would be good to remind myself of what one is!
Other than that plan to have a couple of quiet weekends. Have a wall (or several) to paint at home, some cleaning to do and I could really do with catching up on some sleep.
Trying to do just nice social things during the week. Getting the train to a local town tomorrow afternoon to meet up with friends and watch a band whilst having a couple of beers.:beer:

Go on a date - might be love of your life, might just be fun but you will never know if you don't meet up but he likes beer I assume so won't be all bad
