if so transfer whatever into your current account & then use it to pay off card & you would only pay the handling fee.

I have been lurking with interest! Its hard to resist temptation isnt it!!

Re getting new card - just checking that you know there is a card application 'trial run' on the main site which allows you to try getting a card but doesnt show on any credit check and then it tells you if you are likely/very likely to get the card?

Thanks Lyn. Have checked on that.
In my case it's more which cards I haven't had recently. ..so offers from M & S and the Halifax are ruled out because I paid them off and closed them within the last year.

Someone doesn't understand the definition of constructive.
