So I think I've seen the best of people and the worst tonight. Met up in the pub with my Canadian friend I made from the first night. We were both going to the same concert so he suggested we meet for a drink and go together. He's all "You should get in touch if you're ever over". Let's face it that's never going to happen. Anyway he also said "Let's meet up afterwards and compare notes". So he's given me his number and I ring his mobile so he has my number. Maybe that was a mistake. At the end of the concert I can see him coming towards me (he hasn't seen me). I wait, then he sees me and cuts across chairs/ over chairs in the opposite direction. Honestly a rat moving up a drainpipe with a nuclear explosion behind it wouldn't move that fast.
So I go to my favourite bar after the concert to have a drink and try to ring for a taxi. They all tell me to ring back in half an hour (midnight ). The guy sitting next to me at the bar says "I can get you a cab" and instantly does.
The cab driver let's me treat him as a Samaritan and doesn't charge me extra for still talking when we are outside the door and I'm still talking or me going on about what a brilliant concert it was tonight ( he wanted to go!)Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Just been in the bank to pay my rowing subs and he tells me "There's some money in there". I'm thinking 'I should hope so....it's a bit early to be into overdraft'.
