Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

Looked at a Jazz Z......the reviews do say they are noisy on motorways (which is where I do most of my driving) and I wasn't keen probably because it is a woman's car (and I am a woman but I don't have a load of kids to ferry around - which I think is it's main purpose!). Yaris 1.33 looks good and cheap and some with low mileage. Still got a couple of months before I go out and buy.
Unlike the party dress. Told everyone at work 'I'm just going for a look'.
Hmmmm.
Tried it on. Looked nice. There were a row of them behind the till from where other people had tried them on (Popular or staged? Cynic or what?) :rotfl: Plus my friend who occasionally works in the shop was working. Both kind of made me feel I should buy it (Reminds me of The Tao of Pooh and Tae of Piglet pg.44 'Pooh buys another pair of shoes') Pathetic eh?
BUT I will wear it, I can afford it and I don't need it really (so in the words of that song.....) 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Can't put a link up here as I'm in the library and it's

Not really? It's real women's shapes shopping and Bra's. SHOCKING!!!
If you want to have a look under Pepperberry.com (and you're not in the library). I think it's under party dresses and its the one in magenta that looks like flock wallpaper from a 1970's Indian Restaurant. I'm quite pleased. Have the matching tights, shoes, boots and shrug so that's my Christmas outfit sorted for the next few years.
Going home next weekend for a beer festival and to sort my dad out electronically. Serving Friday, drinking Saturday  , driving back Sunday. Will sort out the budget for next month next week.
Needs a bit of saving for the house and a chunk off the M&S card. Also need to ring the taxman as I STILL haven't had the second payment on my mileage.

You know when I asked for criteria? "Motorway driving" should have been one of them...
So are you going to give a full list of criteria?
Given this new piece of information, you probably should be looking at engine sizes *starting* from about 1.6L and up to possibly 2.0L.
Once I went darn sarf on holiday with the XOH to the same county 2 years running. First year went in her car - 1.3L and took 3 tanks of petrol to get there. The year after, I went in mine (2.0L) and got there and half-way back on the equivalent of one tank. Just showing that 80mph and 1.3L simply does not go well together.and I wasn't keen probably because it is a woman's car
He considers it to be a woman's car because everything is cramped for him. He has larger hands than I do (for example) and they keep getting in the way while steering (for example). That's not going to be a problem for you.(and I am a woman but I don't have a load of kids to ferry around - which I think is it's main purpose!).
Do you need a lot of carrying capacity in a car?Yaris 1.33 looks good and cheap and some with low mileage. Still got a couple of months before I go out and buy.
A Yaris like that will not be fantastic on the motorway - depending on how you drive of course.BUT I will wear it, I can afford it and I don't need it really (so in the words of that song.....) 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Can't put a link up here as I'm in the library and it's

Have tried to print a site layout for the course three times at work and now three times at the library and failed. Friday night's effort at work was compounded by one of the management officers finding me at my desk and proceeding to spend my remaining time at the computer after I had logged out to ask me about how to send photo's of her dogs to herself in my VALUABLE TIME. Scream....yes.....nearly in her face. You know what!!!! (I don't need to say!)
Begins with an F.....ends with an OFF....irritating.
Today I have tried again.......failed again.....as digimaps can't cope with the chrome version there is on the uni library. Have calmed myself down and stopped myself from killing crisp eating students by sending a missive to the University lecturer explaining the situation, explaining how I am simply doing the course to improve my knowledge and asking whether it is possible to pass the course with a layout done at the wrong scale because I am f*cked if I am going to p*ss around on computers any longer trying to get a layout plan at the right scale against the odds.
(I didn't use these precise words!)
I further explained to the librarian who was trying to help me now that I don't have to pass the course and it is of no financial benefit to myself. I think that somewhat amused her.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Have made myself feel a bit better.
Have dropped off a House Buyers Report with the vicar in house no.1 and had quite a nice chat with him about the house they are buying in the next county. That sounds good - they won't be staying!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

.......and tonight Matthew I will be looking at Honda Civic's.
.....and then Golf's (with VERY patchy reviews)
.....and finally back to what was my first car, A VW Polo.
Silver car's seem to have been in IN A BIG WAY. Which is a bit of a shame as I'm not a fan. I don't think you see them in inclement weather!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Just be aware that the "new" style ones that have no back window wiper, are universally reviled. Also, be careful as the spare wheel is a can......and then Golf's (with VERY patchy reviews)
What about its equivalents in the VW group? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Volkswagen_Group_platforms

It was one of the criteria for my car. No silver or white as you can't see them in the fog. Even black is a more visible colour..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
