    Okay....so, another safe tram journey with all the men with their lunch boxes intact (maybe this is a new pattern!!:D)

    Am in uni library.
    Have not done any work yet :(

    Have written an email to the owner of the house outlining the the three main options available to us in the purchase / sale of their property;

    1. Completion and them staying in as sitting tenants - that will be a NO then! Is that NO big enough for them to see do you think? :D Maybe it needs a bit of this Hello...over here :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:jNO :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j to be clearer

    2. We complete by 9th January. They give me all the large white goods and the wardrobe from the master bedroom and their solicitors fit around 6 clauses into the contract which basically say;

    GET OUT OF MY HOUSE :money:

    3. I take my money and go and buy elsewhere, and with my new improved salary I can probably get something better (but I really quite like this house - don't tell them ;)).

    I think we shall exchange and complete on the same day to keep them on their toes.

    So I just need to focus on not killing one of the guys I live with and the jobs a goodun! :rotfl:
    (don't read that as the other one's already under the patio - one is okay, one is deeply irritating. The communal areas are being cleaned today so maybe even the landlady has given up!!!)

    So where are we on the money apart from The taxman still owing me at least £80 :wall:

    CDL £10,000 £5527 - 213 = £5,314
    M&S £ 1,188 £467 - 30 = £ 437
    MBNA £ 3,450 £3,410 - 34 = £3,376

    So in total = £9,127

    Not mega money this month but still going down. I did resist buying the car or the dress :Dfor now :o but bought a ticket to see The Who in Belfast in June. OOOoooooops!

    (Now have around £127 to live on for the next fortnight. It can be done....will just be quiet.....which will be easy given the state of my teeth! Think I'm going to loose weight this weekend too as eating is so bl**dy painful!)

    Promotion kicks in on 1st December I think. I believe the managers are still kicking around what I will be doing in the run up to the end of the current funding programme and the start of the new one.

    Right better go and look some stuff up on walls :wave:

    Never mind "probably" - could you get something better or not?

    Ironically, I've found past a certain point, people just start adding stuff like steam-rooms and hot tubs - at which point I'm so unimpressed, you wouldn't believe.

    Yes kids. Hot tubs. Outside. Up here.

    Any advantages to doing that? Apart to be awkward? :p

    Why? You could probably hear it from where you are...

    Depends on how much brandy and [STRIKE]cocaine[/STRIKE] painkilling gel you imbibe...

    Sitting tenants....court order.....six months.......lots of hassle (arrange in whatever order you like!)

    Never mind "probably" - could you get something better or not?

    If I wanted to spend more money and as I've got less debt all the time and a pay increase as of December I could definitely spend more......but I do like the house and the location :D The only house I've seen around where I went "I want that" was another £20k or so on top of what I am paying. Gorgeous though!

    Any advantages to doing that? Apart to be awkward? :p

    When you exchange I believe (and really I should know!!!) you pay your deposit which means you'd be losing at least part if not all of it if you pull out on a whim. That is why the people who bought my house said they'd complete on 22nd but exchanged about 3 weeks earlier. They effectively wanted to attach themselves to my house. As I am already saving the seller from the estate agents fees I don't feel such a pressing need.

    Ooooooh lots I think ;)
