Time to update totals (to the best of my ability - maybe I should have brought my bank statement in telling me when the DDs go out :p!)

    CDL £10,000 £5527- 213 = £5314
    M&S CC £1188 £467
    MBNA: £3410

Total is now £9191 (I think - will check in a mo!)

MBNA payment and M&S payment are still due for this month as is the second payment from the TAX MAN (knew that element was going FAR FAR too well!)

So this week have got another promotion with another pay increase and my lack of enthusiasm has underwhelmed my new boss :rotfl: who called me into her office for a 'chat' about an hour after giving me the news in the street (she'd been out hunting for me............ literally!!!)

So I have told her the truth because the truth has worked for me in the past,
That I have gained valuable experience and that on paper I can see I look good but that

I just think it might be too soon....but I lack confidence....always have

This news surprised her as I always come across as quite confident 'apart from the odd moments when I display complete terror ' (see I'm not the only one who does honesty)

So I requested support and I think having said my piece I'm actually alright with that. I think this will be okay [STRIKE]and I think I can shove Steve Jobs back in his box[/STRIKE](Bad taste?) Apologies :omy sense of humour is SO dark that like Black Pudding sometimes even the white bits are black.

I am also going to suggest to current boss that he tries to keep me on current project as that is a tricky one he is supporting me on so I am learning a lot on that project and it will ease the transition for him and for me. Next three months now look SUPER HEAVY on workload.

Anyway...in other news the house move is still going....hey look that will be in the next couple of months too!!!:rotfl:We may be having a few more moments of complete :eek::eek::eek::eek: terror before Christmas.

Realised when looking at my friends house buying report that I'd paid for mine and not received it. So have checked his and commented on it...and chased mine and then checked mine and it looks fine. Will send the owner an update in a minute.

Right better get on with my coursework rather than spend all my time in the library on social media :D Skinty loves this sort of behaviour!!!

You two should get on like a house on fire then.

Apart from the moments of complete terror that is...

KEEP AN EYE ON IT. And yes - that was shouting. Don't want you torn two ways. Ultimately, your old job is gone, and your new one should be your focus. Stretching yourself too far will end in tears.

Well you may get moved for Christmas. Just in time for the deep snow and floods, and locusts. Other Biblical disasters are available.

Mirrored glass doesn't help at night, where the outside is dark, you have lights on, and you're just getting changed. All it does is make sure you can't see the rows of seating outside filled with people...

Besides, what's so good about it?

It'll have some fancy way of dealing with the dark - it's a posh house.

Don't get your negativity on this one, it's gorgeous.

It will - it'll have lights. It's more the fact mirrored glass shows the light side to the dark side. So it's fine in the day time, as you can see out, and nobody can see in. Not so good at night when everybody outside can see you just coming out of the shower to get into bed - assuming you turned the lights on that is. Well "not so good" is assuming exhibitionism isn't your middle name.

Curtains. They're popular for a reason...

Moi? I thought you like the olde-worlde stuffe which that most certainly isn't... :rotfl:

He's something similar but different, but they have blinds over the bedroom windows...

    .

OMG she's swallowed the marketing bumph....alternatively have you checked for blackout blinds.

The people in house no. 2 have a problem. They are no longer moving into rented but into a new build instead. Completion on my sale by 28 November, completion of their purchase 2 January. White goods and a wardrobe being offered as a sweetener. Not exactly ecstatic but it will make Christmas financially ok and allow another months saving IF the bank say yes.

    Swallowed it whole... ;)

I did, because I had one of those "Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh....." moments when I first realised. Nowhere in the top for a blind to come out of, and no guide rails to make it come down straight.

Then I realised the big window next to the bed in picture 11 isn't a window. It's a patio door...

Do you need the white goods? Are they of decent quality?

If they're moving into new-build those goods are essentially land-fill for them - not exactly generous.
