Wow...you set the standard SO low Zed?
I think the tax thing is okay. HR aren't great at our place (hence them ignoring a value of 'we promote talent from within' by advertising externally and then seeming to forget to do it internally) BUT the people doing the tax and wages calculations seem to be on it!)
Had a nice but busy night last night at the beer festival. Can't be bothered to go down tonight - I'm tired!

Well I don't know that many Trillionaire Tarts...
It's not what you have, it's what you are that makes people valuable... :kisses3:I think the tax thing is okay. It's not the wage people at fault, it's the tax office. The wage people are operating the codes given, just those codes are actually the Revenue's national lottery syndicate numbers...Had a nice but busy night last night at the beer festival. Can't be bothered to go down tonight - I'm tired!
Well, get plenty rest.Having several glasses of red wine at my cousin's. Tomorrow go and knuckle down to study at the Uni library with my new smart card.
So smart it's doing the course as well?Going to read the paper and chill now

In the uni library....working hard :rotfl:
Out of curiousity passed by the vicar's house today. For sale/sold sign down entirely. Wonder if they have given up for the moment? (or been asked to leave by the Estate Agents?)
Right ...off to find my books and work out how to take them out. Wish me luck!:oDebt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

I would have presume the Estate Agent strongly suggested they were not ready to sell. After all, if you can't sell to someone who has a mortgage lined up and is ready to move in, who can you sell to?Right ...off to find my books and work out how to take them out. Wish me luck!:o

Pay day today :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
and busy day today......
Putting £200 back into savings
Changing my car insurance to Churchill for £190:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
Renewing my car licence
Then tonight I shall do the solicitor bits for the house purchase (struggling again on how to prove I am who I am and I live where I live - such a shame I don't have a gun licence!!!)
...and make a carrot, parsnip and sweet potato curry. Wonder if there'll be a force 9 gale from my ar*e later
Budget to do tonight aswell ready for money moving tomorrow. Not much debt repaying this month I think but lots of preparing for house buying.
Speaking of which, Where's that second tax cheque!!!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

To be fair, I've not used this passport for travelling, only to demonstrate who I am. So you could get a license to demonstrate who you are, and not to rid the world of miscreants......and make a carrot, parsnip and sweet potato curry. Wonder if there'll be a force 9 gale from my ar*e later
Stay away from sources of ignition. A Saturn V launch in the Midlands - although pretty - may lead to some questions later...Budget to do tonight aswell ready for money moving tomorrow. Not much debt repaying this month I think but lots of preparing for house buying.

Hello Peepsies,
(Cultural reference there for those who remember Stavros)
I'm obviously doing as well as some of my fellow students on here in terms of procrastination......and it's a site layout we've got to do and the lecturer had us drawing a cross section last week just so we aren't too terrified to put pencil to paper (very clever I thought....good demonstration of psychology.....and something that should help me get on with it).......So I'll chat to you for a wee while longer :rotfl:
Shortlisted for promotion, interview on Thursday.....need to find my shoe polish! Wouldn't that have been embarrassing.....if my boss has arm wrestled me into applying and then not short listed me. (I'd quite like promotion in about 8 months - am I allowed to say that [to you lot, not at the interview!])
Have managed to spend £600 since payday which was 3 days ago :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Budget, what budget? So had a look at the print out and I've paid;
£200 into savings
£191 on car insurance
£79 on car tax
£80 on a flight to Milan
So not that bad really
Paying money to the solicitors on Monday aswell so that should be fun :rotfl:Going to call in before going on site with my ID and signed documents. Reading them is tomorrow's job.
Better sort the budget, just need to allocate funding to the various events for the month.
Been a bit of an interesting week at work. We were discussing one guy at works love life. Was he there? Of course not, he works in the other office. We then proceeded to discuss how attractive he thinks he is alledgedly and how attractive or not he is. We were discussing it, then the door opened and he was there, then he went to work in the other room, then we got to discuss how long we thought he'd been standing outside the door instead :wall::o:o . I use the term 'WE' loosely, the two women in the room were discussing how they didn't find him attractive and I was just nodding at the moments I thought were appropriate, as you do when you don't really agree with people.
Then two other women at work this week have commented on how attractive and smart I am looking. One of them has a theory that I am having an affair with someone at the bank as I visit it every other day. Whereas the accurate assessment is that I like to keep tabs on my money, don't like internet banking and think a half hour walk to the market is quite a good idea!
Other than these small diversions life continues.........Still waiting for the second tax payment
....and waiting for someone at home to blow up. Yes, always thought it was going to be me with my fingers round the carving knife and it embedded in the back of the younger house-mate. However I can visualise my escape route in about 5 weeks the quiet, easy to live with guy is looking increasingly like he is going to kill the other one........and as I said he is the 'easy going' one!
Right....better go and do some drawing :TDebt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.
