Slightly weird but good night. Out with someone who likes me and ran into someone I also really like.

Tonight I have to put file together for bank visit with up to date figures and colour pictures :D:D:D

That is seeming like quite a tart on - no wonder mortgage applications have dropped.

I could really do with the cheque from the tax man but that may be a bit like superquick service.

"Cheque" is the biggest word in the Civil Service. Takes at least a month to write... ;)

Going to declare an NSD today. Need to buy Lemsip as it feels like someone is sitting on me - but that is all and unavoidable really if I want to try and nip the symtoms in the bud.[/COLOR]

Looks like I didn't quite get away Scott free from the house of death at the weekend.

Should have had a referendum. That's how you get Scot free...

    All good news for me.
My dad has been scammed by 'microsoft engineers' sorting out his computer. I am printing stuff off for him and think he should go on to a telephone preference service, non-marketing electoral register and go X directory. I'm sending him everything Martin has on it!

My mother had that a long time ago (I wasn't there). First thing she said was "This is a scam isn't it?" I was so proud... :D

What a good night  Cost me a tenner too. Brilliant! If you ever see a beer called Black Voodoo by Fernades (Wakefield Brewery) try it particularly if you like Chocolate Oranges.

So okay. Not sure whether said bloke is interested as he walked me home and then gave me a hug. Maybe he could sense I was coming down with a cold and had been tasting out of his glass. Maybe he's interested. Maybe he's just being nice. Who knows? Clearly that's a rhetorical question as I don't!

Other guy, appears to be a VERY CONFIRMED BATCHELOR and seems to be very relaxed with that!

I have just realised that the do I was going to tonight is in a weeks time. I think I am operating a week ahead of myself. Good job I did realise before presenting myself on the doorstep. Gives me a week to practice my sign language too :D.

Right going to go and grab a bite to eat and then go in to do battle with the Bank Manager.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: or maybe with my colour pictures and accurate finances :A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A

    Who knows? Another rhetorical question!

I'd lay odds on it going to the underwriters again.

    He does.

Undoubtedly he would (if interested) have similar reservations as you have, and could easily misinterpret preparations for the commencement of some necking with preparing to rip his throat out with your teeth. One of these outcomes is less preferable than the other...

So, you're going to have to come out of your comfort zone and ask him. If you put such a question into conversation in a very non-emotional way, you can often get an answer out of him before he realises just what he's answered.

Apparently the face afterwards when he realises can be entertaining... (though I suppose that depends on the observer and the answer)

    Well good luck.

They can't keep sending everything to the underwriters surely? Especially when it has been scrutinised before and this is just a change?

They seemed very positive. As she said 'It's only £6k'. The rate depends on whether we can complete by 28 November!

That's the first sniff of victory for common sense I've seen in a long while...
