    NO....as I told the car salesman and my then boyfriend at the time 'If you like this car in British Racing Green you buy it, I am not buying a car in the same colour as my old school uniform'.

    My school uniform was black blazer, grey jumper and a white shirt. No real hideous colours there.

    OTOH Thornhill school in Sunderland used to be burgundy blazer with sky blue piping round. That was...erm..."distinctive"... :rotfl:

    Ironic conversation in the library today.....

    Customer 'It's called Tragedy'
    Librarian 'I've heard of it not seen it'

    Me (I've seen it. It's my life!!)

    So yesterday's brief excitement at the prospect of not being inspected by the Government was VERY SHORT LIVED !!!!    . Today the news that I will be. Oh joy :beer: Can I cancel the NSD and have a double vodka? (with a head*)

    * Maybe that should be with head!


    But sometimes don't you just think your life is not that bad.
    At least I'm not teaching a nine year old to use a machine gun and I am alive.

    Well we've put the paperwork together and it looks okay. We'll pass it up to the monitoring officer tomorrow and cross our fingers.
