Bit of a mixed bag this week but more good than bad.

Have decided following my positive experience with HMRC this week and the news that I can go back to the tax year 2010/11 that I will indeed do that next week and try and get back the £60 I paid in tax that year on election duty. In that year I earned nothing and then survived on a student loan (in effect funded by me!). So that was good......

And then.......having identified money for debts that was previously going to be used for my MOT I opened my car door on Tuesday evening and heard the noise of it finishing by hitting my housemates car. I always thought I would be one of those people who would confess but I find myself needing to find excuses not to.(I know....don't judge me.....or if you are do it quietly!! (and don't let him see you doing it!!!!)

    1. He's 20 something occupying a teenage boy's body and brain (no offence teenage boys!)
    2. He doesn't clear up
    3. He doesn't wash up
    4. He's started leaving his shoes in the middle of the floor infront of the back door.
    5. Having said how amazingly cheap the rent was he is currently complaining about the landlady not putting the heating on, not likely to put the heating on and how he is going to get a cold from being cold. Clearly got a good grasp of biology. Yes mate....that's why I've been living here for 2 years and haven't had a day off sick yet. Man up....Put a sweater on.....and realise there is a reason our ALL INCLUSIVE RENT is cheap Afterall the landlady isn't running a bl**dy charity
    6. I don't like him....so I'm not giving him money.

Anyway having decided crawling around on my knees outside in semi-darkness was too suspicious :o ......I got up early next morning....went out to see a big blob of red paint on his black door handle :eek::eek::eek:
Went back in the kitchen...got some gentle non-scoury type cleaner and a fingernail (handily already attached to my finger)....sprayed....gently scratched....sprayed.....repeat. Jobs a good un' - no evidence of any collision.:D

I am now practically parked in the bins to get the required clearance :rotfl:

    I decided this week that I was going to pay £150 on my debts and do a bit of paying forward as well. So have paid £80 off the Halifax and £70 off M&S. So the picture is;

    CDL £10,000 £5740-213 = 5527 new total
    M&S CC £1188 £ 1017-70 = 947 new total
    HBOS CC £1336 - 80 = 1256

    New Total £7730 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

    Dad £7000 £0 100% paid off
    Friend £280 £0 100% paid off
Virgin CC (MBNA £3350 £-7.47 new total 100+% paid
    HSBC CC £4404 £0 100% paid off

Every Ying has a Yang so I'm off now to spend some money in a pub with some friends.

p.s. Didn't buy pyjamas for £6 bought a Per Una skirt for £13!

Well...things not going too bad at work. Pressure off a bit next month :T HUGE relief

Have put together a little something to put through the doors of people in the street around the house I am 'alledgedly' buying. Something nice, not something warm and steaming

Arrived at the barbie on Sunday with three packs of chicken wings / thighs and was promply sent home with two of them, one on it's sell by date  Have been eating that one and I'm not dead YET :rotfl: Aiming for an NSD with the assistance of chicken tomorrow!

One of these tonight  while I continue clearing bedroom.....oh and I think I'll have some chicken for tea! (Now there's a surprise)

p.s. Mr Zee I've sent you a message.

Zee? Have you gone all American on us? Are you drinking beer that tastes like used dishwater, but watered down?

Is it a list of your favourite wine, chocolates, flowers and designer shoe brands, in case they want to buy you a housewarming present? :D

It's an invitation to sell their house to me without having to pay Estate Agents. trying to decide whether a picture with a smiling me or a smiling me with a shark will help sell the message.

Drop the shark. It'll just make them think of Estate Agents...
