.......and I need to continue with the "How to accept compliments" lessons
I need lessons on:- How to give compliments - without them sounding sarcastic.
- How to describe events - without it sounding rude.
- How to ask questions - without sounding like the KGB.

My bank account 'a mysterious place where things happen with no input from me'.

Yes I think my issues with budgeting may evolve from a fundamental disconnect in my brain between doing things which cost money (today having two duvets and covers dry cleaned £28) and the subsequent removal of this money from my bank account. How does that happen? What is this phrase Cause and Effect?
Apart from said double duvet (which I am still sleeping under because my room is bloody cold and the combined weight gives me the illusion that I am flatter in the morning(apart from my head which could REALLY REALLY do with being smaller!) I think my entire purchases for the day will be a parsnip for a veg and chicken curry (chicken supplied by my cousin) and a wool tunic bought with my M&S voucher. Tomorrow will be an NSD and I will be a social pariah, but as I have DVDs chocolates and a bottle of wine I should survive it....speaking of wine....
Can't see any reason why I shouldn't go for an alcohol free January. Well none apart from fear :eek::eek::eek::eek: and disbelief :eek::eek::eek::eek: that I can do it and an over-riding belief that THE LIVER IS EVIL AND MUST BE PUNISHED.
Right off to look at the bank balance and the freezer and plan for an austere start to 2014.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.
