Well I've come home to the dodgy lodger who has closed my windows in my bedroom despite a notice on my windowsill asking her not to. What next? Do you think I should offer to boot her out or just shoot her?

You can't be nasty to her or the Americans will drop bombs on your wheelie bin...

(She is noticeably trying to avoid me - someone should tell her that I am here until Monday evening You can run but you can't hide).

For someone trying to get a PhD, she is noticably free from the ravages of intelligence.

p.s. I appear to have forgotten wine from my food budget!

p.p.s. no, it is there under entertainment - balancing a bottle of shiraz on my nose!!!!

And with a wineglass stuck in your cleavage - I'm interested to see how that one goes... :rotfl:

The americans have to identify my wheelie bin first, which as she hasn't retrieved it from the end of the drive (presumably because I didn't tell her that was what she needed to do, so she hasn't!)

She is isn't she? She was asking about turning all the radiators off apart from hers or turning them all off and getting an electic heater and I said the heating would still have to go round the house to her radiator so she wouldn't save any money (and I would probably have frozen pipes if we turned it off altogether!)
Can I shoot her? Please? Pretty please?:T

She's commented on shutting my bedroom window because it causes a draught - yes that is the idea of getting ventilation in the room!!!! I have suggested putting a towel under the door.

Seriously she can't really be any great loss to society?

The idea of doing ALL the work on the house and getting the entire house let somehow doesn't seem too bad.

The idea of shooting her seems like I will be doing society a favour!

Thinking of renaming this 'My life with Pot Noodle' *
Pot Noodle on offer today, 10 mins to get in and out (why AM I writing to you lot?) 2 pots for £1.50, don't like cooking in the kitchen.
.....and the answer is Pot Noodle!

    Things sometimes become clear.
I am living on pot noodle and have a car with 97k on the clock and nothing owing.
My landlady had a car with something wrong with it so she goes out and buys a brand new one.
The other lodger gets paid on Friday so I have lent her £6. My money management is not looking too bad.

    B

p.s. Still have enough for a half after my evening class

    * other brands are available

Or you can just buy instant noodles which are like pot noodles, but without the pot. They're an answer for the "pot endowed"...

Just think - when you're rich and famous, you'll be buying a new one when the ashtray is full.

I don't like "real" Pot Noodle as it has the infamous MSG in it. The supermarket cheapies don't though.

It a sad day when i find out from facebook that you have diary on MSE! Have subscribed and will occasionally post if I have a rush of inspiration and wit ;)

Your landlady sounds like a fruitcake which I think is one up from your lodger who sounds like a complete nutter

It will take you a while to settle in to the huge changes in your life and the ups and downs could keep us amused for a while.

Really hope you find somewhere sensible to live soon, pot noodle is not a balanced diet (not even when you are holding one in each hand :rotfl:) and you need a place you can cook in :(

I think the supermarket noodles would involve a pot though Z and hanging around in the kitchen longer...

Not if you want to see her suffer. I suggest swapping bathrooms with her.

Revenge is, after all, a dish best served cold.

The contrast in my life between really really lovely people and one's who are frankly barking or a bit cruel has been very stark this week.

Yesterday I went to my sign language evening class which I could tell you about but frankly you wouldn't be able to hear me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Following 2 hours of semi-silent signing I went over the road to the pub where I had enough money for a half. Last night there was a pub quiz in the pub. The ladies I joined bought me a bag of crisps. The landlord gave me a free half.
    I LOVE THAT PUB.

Contrast that with someone who doesn't tell a brother that his brother is lying critically ill in hospital a couple of miles from where he works until a fortnight later when he has died. Just appalled.

But on a MUCH lighter note Maty Moo I am going to buy some tomatoes for lunch. Tonight going to view a room. I hope it's a reasonable size because everything else is sounding good.

    What a nice pub :D

    That brother wants shooting :(

Tomatoes?? Just tomatoes?? I suppose it is a bit of an improvement :rotfl:

Good luck with the room tonight, fingers crossed that it is just what you are looking for and without a barking landlord/lady (should that be landperson nowadays?)
