Thanks, but I'm not on facebook, would prefer if someone has an email address for them as I assume the old one will go to the new people.
I am not at all happy with what I received and had some broken. I'm not bothered about the broken stuff really as it looks like tat but would not have purchased if I had thought that was what we would be getting.0 -
Can you claim back on Paypal if you paid that way? Just an idea for those of you that had broken items arrive.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

Well it really wasn't worth the long wait for delivery! In addition to the expected samplers and small jar I received...
1 horrible large shade (flip flop design)
2 frosted sampler holders
2 clear sampler holders
3 small square green plates
2 largish square orange bowls (both smashed to pieces)
I wish that instead I had ordered the Prices candle offer that I saw on QVC Christmas the same week.0 -
In defence of the old Yankee Candle company I have ordered from them many times in the past and have never received a badly packed or damaged item from them! The megapacks have always been a bit hit and miss with what is included, but they usually offer good value for what you do receive even if it is not to your taste. Sorry for those who have had a bad experience, I would recommend you email the current Yankee Candle company or contact the people responsible for the old YC site via their new venture of the UK Kringle Candle site, I am sure they would not want their reputation ruined for a few breakages, and are likely to reimburse you for the items. It may be a case of some rushed out orders or poor handling by the courier but they can only put it right if you inform them there is an issue. Please post how you all get on with their post sales customer service.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

I put a claim in to paypal on the 6th just because I wanted the items as a pressie and mine hadn't even been picked on the 6th I had sent them several e mails asking for info regarding when the items were to be delivered and nothing. I put in a claim to paypal that I still hadn't received my items and I was refunded and case closed within the hour. I would say that those of you who paid via paypal should take out a claim as items are not as described and broken due to lack of packaging!!!0

This was posted on the new Yankee Doodle Facebook page, think has been set up to help anyone who ordered the megapack etc. just before old team left yankeedoodle, so works as their customer services I believe, hope this helps!

I don't really think they will do anything to be honest, it said that if anything arrived broken, we had to accept it and that they wouldn't be able to exchange anything as they were clearing the warehouse. They said that we were getting our money's worth in the candles and everything else had to be accepted as 'free' so no exchange or refund.Tiggerlilly wrote: »This was posted on the new Yankee Doodle Facebook page, think has been set up to help anyone who ordered the megapack etc. just before old team left yankeedoodle, so works as their customer services I believe, hope this helps!

I didn't pay by Paypal, but none of mine were broken anyway, I just didn't like some of them. So I would have no recall anyway, I just feel for the people who have ended up with nothing but the samplers and jar, I think it is a lot to pay for them. QVC often have Yankee candle stuff on, my friend always gets hers from there, she says she gets bargains.0 -

I just had a reply from customer service, they are quite cocky and are very rude, they told me they will refund £17 but I must send the candles back,I can keep the broken items courtesy of Yankee doodle.omg what do you think about that.0 -
I'm having a full blown row with them now,if there packers would of packed with care, this wouldn't of happened,I'm not joking all my ceramics were smashed to pieces.and a cut hand opening the products.0
