Yankee Doodle Bargains and Final Megapack

My order hasn't been, picked yet either but since they've removed the order tracking button they might not be updating the system anymore so don't take it as gospel.

I'd be interested to know if anyone elses changes to show they are updating the site?

I got a text from Parcelforce on Friday to say that my Megapack would be delivered on Monday, trouble is, I won't be here to take it in so will have to colleact it from Parcelforce depot but as it is only down the road, I would sooner do that anyway rather than wait in for it.

When I ordered mine, it did say that they wouldn't start going out until 2nd of August, so no worries really.

Hope its worth waiting for!!

Mine's showing as Picked, Packed & Dispatched today.
I ordered on the 24th July, so looks like they are getting through these quickly now

I'm still waiting for mine to be picked but at least they are progressing. Did you guys order megapacks?

I suspect the reason that the megapacks picking is delayed is because they will include whatever stock hadn't been ordered individually when the webite closed. Hopefully you will all get some great bargains to compensate for the wait.

Yes, only ordered the megapack, nothing else.
Hoping it will arrive tomorrow (fingers & toes crossed)

Well, mine came today and I have to say how disappointed I am with it. There are a few nice things, but some I wouldn't have chosen.

I can't post pictures but here is what was in it.

The two things they told us would be in:-
12 samplers mxd
1 small jar.

They were the only candles in it

There was a very nice crackle glass shade to match the jar, so I'm going to give those two to my friend as part of her birthday present this month.
A nice mesh candle holder
2 small mosaic plates
1 large mosaic plate
1 extremely large shade which I have absolutely no use for at all and can't even think of anyone who I could give it to that would have a use for it.
3 frosted white votive holders
3 clear glass votive holders
2 yellow frosted glass votive holders
2 Christmas votive holders
I awful greeting card?
2 Union Jack hand waving flags



The Christmas votive holders are ok but I don't like any of the others. Will probably put a sampler in each and give them to our local charity for their tombola - That will be 8 of the samplers gone though.
I like the mesh candle holder, but will need to buy a large, church type candle to put in it, otherwise it is of no use to me.

As I say, I can't think of anything at all to do with the large shade, I don't even think it would be any good to give to a charity shop.

I like the mosaic plates but haven't really any use for them, so they might even get sent to the tombola, wouldn't have been quite so bad if they had been matching, but they were all different designs. The jury is out on them at the moment while I thinnk of a use for them, one could possibly go with the jar and shade as part of my friend's birthday present, but there isn't one that really matches.

The card definitely won't get used - charity shop I think!!
and the Union Jacks are not much use to me either.

What a disappointment. Hope others get a better selection.
A real waste of money, I wish now I had just ordered candles and tarts up to the same value. It would have been nice even to have got a box of tea lights in it.

Ohhh no not good I'm really unhappy that they've taken so long to get them out they had said that they weren't sending the Megapacks out till 1st August but mine isn't even picked yet and It's the 7th tomorrow really regret ordering now even wondering whether I'll get anything as I've sent several messages and not one answer!!! so glad that I used PayPal to pay!!

This sounds a bit like the last megapack I got, which is why I didn't order again. It was so exciting opening the box but alot of what I got was old fashioned or Christmas themed so pretty useless really. I loved the samplers and holders but am struggling to find places in the house to put them all out
I do agree that it would have been better to spend the same amount on candles.
