As so many have already said, you have to inform Argos that the items have been delivered and either offer payment or ask them to collect the said item. You then give them a reasonable amount of time in which to collect the item and keep it boxed as new somewhere safe.
My advice is do not sell it on at this stage. I would be very surprised if they don't collect it.0 -

I would call into my local argos and explain the story and say I'm not prepared to ring your extortionate phone number, give them my details and tell them to deal with it, taking note of the assistants name.
It's like every time I have to ring Tescos when they've c*cked up on my groceries, the price of the phone call is sometimes the price of the missing item!!!!!!!!0 -
Blinko,
putting a PS3 in a cupboard and to not use it is the equivalent of having Gail Porter pop around your house naked and demanding sexual favours and you saying "come back in a fortnight will you love!"
'And this time, wear a damn wig. I don't want to get blinded by the glint off your chrome dome, Porter.'0 -
I was in a 'similar' situation last year when I registered with the awful bid.tv, they gave my account number to someone else so everything the other person was ordering I recieved (but the money was not coming out of my account for the goods that I was getting!) - obviously I had to contact them to try and get all this crap stopped (I was getting bath spa's, watches, coats, etc..) as a 'goodwill' gesture they allowed me to keep all the stuff that was sent (like, it was junk, but junk to the value of about £500!) - Did you sign for the goods?0

Take it to your nearest Argos with the delivery receipt.
You know its theft.
No matter which way you slice it, know matter what the policy on returns, faults etc is.....deep down you know its theft. However the guilt isnt so bad because its a business - Argos.
Theft is theft.0 -
