I've had neighbours I don't know sign for things before, and keep them themselves! And after the aggro of going through customer services, and having to prove it was not me that signed for that parcel, pain in the rear.~*Cerenia*~

Alias 7, you're very quiet! You have got 5 pages of advice now, so are you going to let us know what you plan to do about your unexpected PS3
Or has your silence/absence from this board got anything to do with the fact that you are probably sitting at home playing on your PS3 with a great big grin on your face!“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
Lol you could take the PS3 back to Argos and ask for a refund....
Seriously though, putting myself in your shoes, after ensuring that no money had been taken from your account, I would send a letter to Argos CS department stating that you had been sent a PS3 from them, even though you had cancelled your order for 2 of them earlier. Thank them for this gift and wish them a happy easter.
You'll soon be contacted by CS asking when it's convenient to pick it up, and maybe get some vouchers...

Unless you signed for it, I'd just say I didn't receive anything, just blame it on a neighbour or anything if they say a delivery person gave it to you haha.

Having just scanned the page, i suggest this.....
write a letter to argos, stating exactly what happened, but send it to yourself, i.e. through royal mail so it is post marked
i think someone said 30 days is the period between informing them and when you own the item
when you recieve the letter you sent to yourself, keep it safe
wait 30 days
then play the console
if they havn't realised the mistake themselfs, then you dont have to worry
if they say, you didn't inform us, just say... look, on this date i sent two letters, one to argos and one to myself, let them open it, bingo
dont know if it would work (they might ask for proof of postage) but worth considering
i dont see why you should go to the trouble of informing them of their mistake and getting maybe £20 vouchers0 -
i would cancel the card you used to pay for item and get bank to send you new card(say its lost), this way they can not charge you with out you knowing .
Leave it to them to chase you, you can be away for a month, etc...
if after few months you dont heare from them- then ebay!0 -
it may be your good karma0
