Hi again, didn't post again yesterday as felt so awful, with really sore and painful joints, cough and sore throat and so weary with it. Read a bit, slept a lot in the day and had a slightly better night, so not quite so worn out and achy today.

Bossymoo, I saw that you'd written that you'd got a similar illness to mine, I do hope you soon are feeling stronger, as it must be more than doubly difficult looking after the little ones and trying to weather the worst of your bug. Big hugs and virtual cups of tea coming your way (I do hope you can get some real help there) and I hope you are soon over the worst. The photos of the children are gorgeous, they are such sweeties. X

My joints aren't as sore today, so between us, we've emptied the dishwasher, changed the bed, S&S bathroom, kitchen and bedroom and got two loads of washing out. OH just did a beans on toast for lunch (but with the throat & cough I'm at the stage where things taste odd - and this was just palatable as it tasted too rich and salty), but the cuppa tasted good! I did feed the birdies and was rewarded with the three baby blackbirds and just one blue tit. No noisy baby starlings today, they were looking almost adult the last couple of days, so wonder if they have flown off?

Am off to docs this aft as I had this throat thing last year and it lasted weeks! Don't want that I as want to get back to work asap and have a wedding in Spain in 3 weeks!!

Good vibes coming your way, and hugs, sticks and spoons to those needing them, especially for Nanamia and Lamewolf. Good luck to Pigpen at the docs - what are these blinking awful appointment systems like!? By the way, my practice started, only this month, to give only one month's prescriptions at a time. That will mean so many extra journeys for some people who just can't easily do it. Grrhhh!

Right, off for another cuppa, I think! Bye for now, x.

Rowan we only get 1 month at a time too.. which is great.. I have 2 with large repeat prescriptions and instead of doing them at the same time they are 2 weeks apart!! We used to get DS2's stuff in 3 month chunks which was so much easier.

    OH outside mincing :D

Beasts for once are all quiet and just interacting nicely, Dot is in bed.. I have my knitting to keep me company :)

I have issues but can only stand so much.. I know it is me that has the problem.. I have a thing about saliva as well and I cannot remove things from my mouth.. you know like at dentist they say to rinse your mouth.. I can't do that because I can't stand the removing the liquid from my mouth.. I can't even think about it because it makes me gag.

It's too darned hot! Even Ted's melting.

All Tuesday jobs done, apart from the weekly smoke alarm test. I'll get Mr LW to give it a poke this evening, while I take Ted out in the back garden, as the little guy doesn't like loud scary noises.:o

My prescriptions are a nightmare - some they give me 3 months supply of, some 2 months, and the morphine only 1 month, so I have to keep a careful check on all 6 items I take, as well as watching how much Amlodipine Mr LW has left. I also have morphine in 2 different forms (sustained release tablets to take twice daily, and liquid for breakthrough pain) and they very often do the prescription for the wrong one, I ask for the tablets and get a script for the liquid. Twerps!

And, of course, I can only go and get my meds when Mr LW is available to take me, which all adds to the fun.

LW... do Boots not deliver to you? We can order repeats online finally and the surgery do the script and Boots collect it and will deliver :D It is possible to have Boots do the requests for repeats too. One less thing for me to remember.
