Medieval market in Valliland tomorrow ..both teen boys need deck shoes so will pick them up too.
I had a stall on there once! Many moons ago (when it was in New Square ONLY) I had a 'collectables' stall on the Flea Market!
If I hadn't arranged UPS to pick up a parcel today I would be there myself - still, if they come sooner, rather than later...

Anyhoo what I have done is pegged out washing...machine timed itself through cycle without actually running the cycleshrug.gif so needed a restart

I have also made a marinade for chicken as I'm doing a SW recipe of kebabs...marinade is low fat yoghurt, honey, chilli powder, ground cumin and ground coriander, mint and fresh coriander. I only had whole cumin seeds (14p courtesy of the Asda RTC thread) and no mortar and pestle. I improvised with a cup and a child's rolling pin - rather glad I decided to keep that, now!

I suppose I ought to look at the list...

    The Bossybabes look SO cute!

(and one day I am going to make a dreadful faux-pas and muddle up Bossy and Bonnie...it will be entirely accidental!)

    Hi everyone.

Right, I'm sending Ted in to bark abuse at the BDs. He's already told a squirrel "sex and travel" this morning.:D

Lounge + hall day in the Wolf's Lair, so the TV and computer screens will be duly cleaned - but we won't be doing any Olympic viewing on them; Wolf's Lair is an official Sports-Free Zone.:rotfl:

Mr LW set off at 06:00 again today - via the poo-bin, to dispose of the offerings Ted so kindly left on the back lawn!:rotfl:He (Me LW, that is:D) called me at just after 08:00 to say he'd arrived - cos he managed not to get lost this morning!:D

I have to admit, I'm finding the long days very hard; I get lonely here at the best of times, and the extra hours without Mr LW are difficult - thank goodness for Ted!:o

Anyways, I did a WM load of Mr LW's clothes early on, and managed eventually to get them on the line - actually, they should be dry by now, I must go and check. :o

*Goes to find Mr LW's baseball-style cap to keep sun off head*

On a bit of a go slow this morning. I've done a little bit in the front veg garden but that is it. Need to fix the strimmer before I do anymore.

Three boys are playing with water balloons - it'll end in tears. DS1 (18) says he's reliving his youth! He has to be in work by 2 so it wont be long lived.

Think I'll do the LR jobs whilst there is nobody in there.

Gorgeous photo, bossy. Thank you for sharing.

I'm making the most of taking DS2 to school this week by not using the car and getting some exercise. :D He's asked me to remember bringing a drink for him when I collect him this afternoon. Thanks to walking with his friends and their mum I've also found a bit of a shortcut. It's more of a zig-zag route which breaks down the hill a bit. :T

This morning I've alternated 3 HHCs in the kitchen with 15min in the living room and that's worked well. Only problem is flying doesn't occupy my mind enough and leaves me time to brood over DS1. :(

Time to repeat this morning's pattern before it's time to wave the straighteners at my hair and walk to school. Have a good afternoon, everyone, and 'shooo' to all the BDs.

I'm not flying today. Feel terrible. Done bit of work this am but am crashed now. My head feels too heavy.

Why is it with tonsillitis your head, jaw, neck, ears and shoulders all ache?

Am in spare bed since I sweated about 5 litres of fluid last night but too tired to make my own bed. Sweating, but freezing.

Feel quite sorry for myself, and not even got anyone to make me a cuppa...

Still, the penicillin will kick in, in a day or so...

Nothing much been done here - its too hot lol. Next door but one has her little ones out in the garden and all they are doing is screaming and crying with Mum constantly shouting at them, so glad mine are a bit older now!

My DR is the pits, the bathroom is minging and if a little girl doesn't stop crying and screaming I'm going to go mad!!

When I got back from walking the dog this morning I was disappointed to notice how dull the front door looked after all the extra effort I'd made yesterday washing and rinsing it. Does it make me a sad person that the moment I had a few free seconds I immediately got out the micropore cloth and a bottle of squirty stuff to polish it?

Hi Vanilla! And bonnie_bumpkins, I knew it was an oversight. A couple of glasses of red wine last night did the trick, and on the day of drilling I have every intention of indulging in a drop or three of the hard stuff. (I hate going to the dentist, even though I really like him as a person. If I didn't, I'd let them all turn black and drop out, I'm so frightened of the drill.)

Hugs to everyone feeling yick, with such nasties as tonsillitus and BDs.
    Better is good enough.

I hate the dentist too.. I cannot stand people faffing on my face at the best of times. :( I am much braver at the moment I feel able to take the children.. 8th August they are next there.
