LW... do Boots not deliver to you? We can order repeats online finally and the surgery do the script and Boots collect it and will deliver
It is possible to have Boots do the requests for repeats too. One less thing for me to remember.

My first paid day is Thursday when I'm in charge of a whole entire shop
Ted's had a bath. He looks all fluffy and cute now.:rotfl: Poor lad has a skin condition that means a bath in special shampoo twice a week, so we get to do it again on Saturday.:D He doesn't mind being bathed, as he gets to eat lots of doggy-chocs (to stop him licking the shampoo off).:D We both got soaked too, as Ted believes in sharing the fun.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

LW - our dog stands in the bath and sulks - he looks like a massive drowned rat when he's wet, he then shakes himself dry over everyone - talk about an indoor shower!
Bathroom is finally done, Hamster cleaned, stuff flung in garage, decluttered a yack with NN, coffee drunk, washing piles sorted, the revitalising shower worked and its cooler now

Evening all
Not been a bad day, all in all. The LR is gradually improving further and I've made inroads in the kitchen.
Keeping on top of bits I've cleaned and tidied and anything that needs to leave the house goes straight in the boot of the car. I'm also trying to avoid 'empty' trips up and down the stairs.
Tomorrow I'm focusing on the bathroom and see how far I can get. It's supposed to be cooler, so should be a bit easier all around.
Sending healing vibes to all poorlies, sticks for assorted BDs and congrats to bonnie. DH has been steadily ironing away :T, so we'll watch a bit of TV in a minute before an early night.
Back in the morning. x0 -
Not a lot of flying done today, the heat makes me feel a bit ill tbh.
Friend has washed my duvets in her supersized WM saving me a trip to the laundrette :T
Did all the ironing
strimmed the grass between the fruit patches and edged it
Weeded the runner beans patch
Water the pots
That is it, poor show. List for tomorrow is up. Off to watch 2012 in a minute. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

RANT ALERT....
Unbelievably $hittie day at work. Turned my life upside down for the last 2.5 weeks and it's not enough. I now have until I go in holiday to "upgrade myself to remember every single order that passes my fingers on the keyboard. # not paid enough to bother. Really, really, really fed up. I neglect my family and my flying. Do I jump before I am pushed? I'm not entitled to any benefits so it's all academic. I'm working for a pregnant control freak that won't let go. After my dressing disn my work colleagues commiserated with me. Everyone before me lasted 3 months. Guess how long I have been there.......
Sigh .....
Going to the beach tomorrow with DS3's class mums and kids. really looking forward to it!0 -

Thank you for your kind words and big sticks. I will beat it I've done it before but getting so tired of fighting:( Trying desperately to support my DS and his family including my VVVDGD1 with their move to Australia even though it's breaking my heart. Feel like I'll never recover from this:( I know I'm feeling sorry for myself and can't stop. It's going to be such a better quality of life for them and I'm so very proud of my boy but Australia !
Needless to say I've not flown but I have been useful today so hoping that will continue:)
Bossy you poor thing it's not been very long since you were poorly has it. I do hope you are looking after yourself you kno we need you.
Bonnie wooo hooo well done you.
Welcome tabbycat
Pigpen you are so very patient. Don't know how you are managing at the mo. Big kick up the ar*e for your DH he doesn't know how lucky he is:( Think I'm spoilt with my surgery/chemist. The chemist put in our scripts every for weeks, collects them and then delivers meds to me:) Fab service with a smile. The chemist and his staff are real diamonds. Nothing is too much trouble:)The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do
All year through0
