Last year I asked our local Mr T manager why they didn't have many of the value brands, (now Everyday named), and he said that the Branch was classed as a more affluent area, so they didn't have many of them! ha. Tell that to the shoppers!.

Gosh I have been on this thread, copying and pasting menus etc since 12.45! Where did that time go?
Shows that I have been rather absorbed in it all though.
I realise that the prices all vary, but the theory behind them all is the same, and it will remind me to reduce the bills again. I did start to do this in March, but then it all tailed off again as I was busy setting up my sewing business, and of course now I need the reminders to pull in the horns until the money for working starts to come in.
DS is still not getting his Jobseekers money, hasn't had any for two months now. So when he is at home its feeding him as well as DGD.
Although things have got better as I do get to go to BF's place at the weekends, and he comes to me occasionally, but on the whole we get to eat at his for two days. So if I sort myself out we will do much better.
I wasted so much food these last few weeks, with my fresh veg etc, and then not using them up in time. I feel so guilty that I have not been on the ball.
But I am fired up now and will get back on the band wagon so to speak.

Thank you, this has both helped me meal plan and given me some idea for some new combinations that I otherwise wouldn't have tried.

For some reason in our Aldi the peppers have been substituted with tomatoes  Strange because peppers are in their leaflet but it is tomatoes on the web site

Same in our aldi, shame, because I was really looking forward to getting some peppers at that price, I dont eat a lot of tomatoes and I really like peppers.
