Thanks BB for the meatloaf recipe, i am making it for dinner tonight and will post a photo so everyone can see how it turns out :)
Admittedly i didnt weigh/measure anything, i just mixed everything together and added a small amount of plain flour because it looked too wet.
It's sitting in the loaf tin, ready for go in the oven later on tonight :)

It's really yummy, thanks for the recipe BB!
It's a little wetter than i had thought, but that's because i didnt weigh anything, i just chucked some stuff together and hoped for the best!
    Delish!
  • Glad you like the recipe, but you really do need to weigh things out, I can do it by eye now but that has taken many years of weighing. I use the leftovers for sandwiches the next day lovely with a dollop of ketchup

We don't have Aldi, but I popped into Tesco today and noticed that the plain and SR value flour is also 45p per bag just now. Forgot to check the bread flour.

You could carry the sausages and potatoes over from the first week's menu to make another meal.

Thanks to Gina for your work on the Menu Plan and shopping list - sparks off other ideas to use things for - find all the plans really useful.
Got a really big cabbage (my father always used to call this type balled headed cabbage)from super 6 that reminded me of a little tip.If you don't cut slices out but remove the outer leaves one by one until you have as much as you need for that meal the remaing cabbage keeps much better with no waste.Nit picking maybe but it works well. jacxx.
