Well you know me! :rotfl::o 2180_hiding_behind_a_couch.gif

I just don't like letting good people get shafted by commercial organisations. I have, just this minute, got off the phone to an ASDA CS assistant on the blower (using 0800 wizzard on the mobile). ;)

She rang my store (even though I was phoning on behalf of Leenie and have no idea of her store so I made it up) and talked to the duty manager. They both agreed that APG vouchers should always be accepted up to £100 and if they suspect anything, they can check in there and then on their computer in a discreet manner whilst the customer waits. The manager went off to schedule a full staff retrain in my local (yahooo :money:):T:A

They apologised big time and said that targeting the APG was NOT a breach of T&Cs. :T:T:T

She said that if any of my 'friends' had trouble to ring CS who will ring their store to retrain the staff. I hope this gives all on this thread a little more confidence in the APG system. Don't take it as gold in that it will work, and you may have to fight, but they were not happy about my offer of highlighting the poor training to the press ;):)

That was very good of you to do that ( good turn for the day)- A brownie leader would give you a badge for that.

nice one for trying to make a difference Angelsmadv :)

I wont be phoning H/O though..I'm taking the matter further, based on what actually happened to me. It wasnt just being refused the APG.

The store kept my APG so have printed off another, as there is no way on Gods green earth that they are taking £27 of my money for no good reason. I will be using it once the matter is resolved to my satisfaction - and I expect a hell of a lot more besides the £27 by way of compensation ;)

I completely understand where Leenie is coming from, as tbh, yesterday for me was enough to put me off ever entering a shop again, let alone taking advantage of any offers instore. But we all have different ways of dealing with things and our own comfort levels, and due to what actually happened yesterday I will be fighting my corner as I have done nothing wrong - not even remotely!

Leenie - I hope you can put the incident behind you, and ignore any comments on here you felt were derogatory, and come back to post.....we've already lost Toni to her pregnancy, so we need you to keep us updated! :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

i am not going to ask about the fabric conditioner i so donot need anymore, restraint girl restraint:o:o

Snap. I refused to walk down the conditioner aisle this morning. I have got enough thank you! But then I realised that the cat food is in the same aisle so had to. The conditioner is marked up at 75p in mine. Didn't buy any to test as I was confused enough doing 2 seperate APG shops :rotfl:

Has anyone tried the PG Tips hint of earl grey in Asda for a APG?

It is £2.68 in Asda but 50p in Tesco. Tesco shelves are empty so I thought this would be a good way to get em even cheaper??

    Morning one and all
I bought these for one of my lovely old customers, they compared just fine:D
