On another note, those meanies at Homebase won't tell me when the next 15% off weekend is. Might be forced to go and buy my fridge in Argos before the £10 voucher finishes. I hate the idea of not getting more off it.
I appreciate the person that suggested I get it second hand (sorry, long day, forgotten who it was!) but I just can't persuade myself to do that with a fridge!! Very un-mse of me, but would not trust it!
On HUKD and the 15% off is this weekend

I just don't like letting good people get shafted by commercial organisations. I have, just this minute, got off the phone to an ASDA CS assistant on the blower (using 0800 wizzard on the mobile).
She rang my store (even though I was phoning on behalf of Leenie and have no idea of her store so I made it up) and talked to the duty manager. They both agreed that APG vouchers should always be accepted up to £100 and if they suspect anything, they can check in there and then on their computer in a discreet manner whilst the customer waits. The manager went off to schedule a full staff retrain in my local (yahooo :money:):T:A
They apologised big time and said that targeting the APG was NOT a breach of T&Cs. :T:T:T
She said that if any of my 'friends' had trouble to ring CS who will ring their store to retrain the staff. I hope this gives all on this thread a little more confidence in the APG system. Don't take it as gold in that it will work, and you may have to fight, but they were not happy about my offer of highlighting the poor training to the press
Sorry but I don't think it was a good idea ringing head office and highlighting that big APG's are being generated tbh. I agree the person who got hassle should take it up further but others shouldn't. As has been said previously there is a lot of people using the APG now and we don't want a cap like Tesco/Sainsbury's when HO realise that people are targetting shops. It is one thing to do it and Asda to say no problem, but what they really think and will do could be different.
I have done high value APG's for a long time but not many others had until recently and I'm sure a lot of high value ones flooding into cash offices will make them look into whether to cap or if it is worthwhile. It is like DTD, no problem when a few were doing it but when a lot of people started doing it then warning bells rang up at stores/head office.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
