Samsung Galaxy Overheating
Comments
-
My note gets quite warm at times when in use, but probably no more than my iphone 4 did0

I have had a replacement galaxy note delivered from Tmobile - although they state that they are unaware of any overheating issues - that Samsung US are aware of (recalls ?) - Samsung UK are hiding their heads in the sand !!!0

Could the phone continually hunting for a network signal cause it to overheat and use up the battery so fast?0

Its normally a rogue process or a process which entered deep sleep and is now constantly notifying (being notified) that its exiting.
You can press+hold the middle "hard" button then click Task manager , "RAM" and then "Clear Memory"
Else just press+hold right-side "hard" button and then "Restart" which should sort the issue out
A later ROM (one of the new LP9) seems to help me somewhat although I still get the occasional heat issue.0 -
So far (touch plastic) - the replacement note is behaving itself - it stays cooler and the battery appears to be holding its charge better - maybe I had a rogue one ?0
