I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
Phew- managed not to go to Tesco and get wine and choc. Had a cup of earl grey and a small scone instead. I'd say that's a success :)

GFN- you sound shattered, you poor thing! Hope you didnt scoff your biscuits?

Hi all, I'd like to join too :0) the lively boyf and I fly to Mexico on 31/10 so that gives us 3 months to slim down.

We're both proper foodies & I love baking so will have to curb that (or at least take more of the treats into work for my team!).

We decIded to kick things off today (had best friends wedding this weekend so no chance of dieting then!). So I've eaten reasonably well despite having brekkie out as we had the day off and went to the gym:

B: Eggs florentine (naughty hollandaise tho!)
    L: activia breakfast yogurt
D: mackerel cooked in orange with a greek style couscous salad (w. feta)
Pud: apple crisp (apple, pear, blueberries with oats and apple juice roasted in the oven) with natural yogurt

Have made pack-ups for tomorrow with leftover couscous salad and have also made up a box with homemade instant porridge with apricots & sultanas for brekkie to help resist my usual skinny vanillla lattes throughout the day!
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!

Joey- are you doing calorie counting to lose weight then?

Hi WTBSE (Keep reading your name as Want to Be Sexy, lol!), yes I decided to use the Fitness Pal app in an effort to keep an eye on what I'm eating. I keep trying just to cut out the carp, but end up eating it without even realising, so stricter measures are called for.

Used Fitness Pal last year, so all my staple foods are still in there, which helps massively.

    Errrr :o

But well done you for resisting :T

On the plus side there is no more 'bad' stuff left in the house & I've had a good night's sleep now, so back to being healthy. Ironically, sugar doesn't help with tiredness it just perks you up a bit then you slump. If only I could follow my own good advice eh?!

Hope everyone has a nice day, kind of cloudy here but at least the plants got a good soaking overnight :)
Proud to be a moneysaver :)

Morning All, how is everyone? I've had cereal (rice crispies) and semi-skimmed milk for breakfast. I do fine up until 11:00 then it all goes to pot.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

    morning all
wyre, I (sort of) like running and walking. I don't mind swimming but havn't found a pool i like, always seems a hassle.

WTB, I DID have a fab time. On the south coast with my grandsons. We were so lucky with the weather. Well done for resisting the chocs and wine.

I'm determined to have a good day today. Am on A/L at the mo, so plenty of time on my hands to munch, but am making curtains so hope that will keep my hands busy!!

Will try to find the motivation to do some exercise too.

    Morning peeps :)

Joey- i do want to be sexy as well, LOL, so you aren't far wrong!!

I am feeling good that i managed to resist last night, but i must admit that every evening is getting harder as the days go on (its only been 3 evenings!!).

My main problem at the moment is learning patience! I feel like i should be seeing massive results by now, and i am not.
I HAVE noticed that my belly isnt as bloated, so thats a good thing, and i need to learn to just take it slowly and the weight will come off.
