Well I have done the top-up shopping for F&V etc for next week and am now up to £146.67 out of my £180 budget. I think I might be able to come under budget, I hope I can.

People keep mentioning geocaching and I've got all interested now :o. I found the website and it looks like there are quite a few near us, and apparently I can just get an inexpensive app for my phone and use that to do it. Going to see if OH fancies giving it a go together.

Just found my first 2 geocaches. I'm now very muddy (and so are the kids).
I left tea lights in the tubs. Took nothing from the first one but my nephew took a minuscule water pistol from the second Ons

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend so far. :D

OH bought square sausages yesterday for £1.50, not too bad as he ate half and froze the rest for next weekend.

I made my list for my top up shop this week and only had about six things on it since we're going away Thursday - Saturday this week and going out for dinner on Tuesday with family :j. Bought two bottles of coke, four pints of milk, a bag of carrots and two reduced pears at my local Mr T, normally avoid it as it's a wee garage supermarket that costs more, but didn't have enough on the list to justify going to the big one. Spend £5.13.

Tonight we're having the frozen leftovers from last week's roast - sliced roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, plus frozen leftover braised red cabbage from our last roast chicken dinner. Serving with potatoes (boiled rather than roasted for quickness), baby carrots from the garden and green beans. Easiest roast dinner ever!! Having defrosted apple cake with ice cream for dessert. Can anyone tell I love my freezer?? :rotfl:

Tomorrow we're having leftover frozen arrabiata sauce (made by OH last week) with spaghetti, and will roast the last peppers and courgette half to mix in the sauce, plus serve with last half bag of salad. Tuesday we're out for dinner and on Wednesday I have to work late so I guess OH will have the individual YS steak pie from the freezer with chips and peas or something and I'll just grab some soup out the freezer when I get home. Think I'll make pesto pasta for lunches for me with some carrot sticks - not bothering to make more soup and bread this week when we're not really in and there's still bread in the freezer anyway. Fingers crossed no more spends til next Sunday, I could really use a shopping-free week :)

Can't stop to catch up as in the middle of making HM fish and chips to celebrate the Closing Ceremony.

Weekly shop came in at £29.74 making my total now £73.08/£200.
However, I had too many bulky things on my list so had to abandon some or I wouldn't have been able to carry everything home. So mid-week shop will be on the cards.

So here is what I have and I reckon it will come in at about £18.70, altho hoping that I might find something things on offer. couple of things not sure on price as I havent checked on ms.com yet. I have about £3 spare to play with for any thing that is slightly more.
