    Morning all :)

If you spend £6 on ANY cereals at Tesco, you get a 10p off a litre petrol. :j

That means if you fill up with 50 litres, you get a £5 off

That is the same as just spending £1 on the £6 of cereals.

Last night I bought 10 x Value cornflakes (they are really good) @ 31p = £3.10 and Tesco wheat biscuits 48 pack £2.90 and it generated a voucher at the till :j
Hi JJ, you make this offer work even better if you use JTD.
    I'll try explain.
If I go now and bought 1x Nestle shreddies 500g for £2.29. This is only £1 at Asda.
If I buy 1x Kelloggs coco pops 295g for £2.09. This is only £1 at Asda.
If I then buy Weetabix chocolate spoonsize in the same sale for £2.25. These are £1.50 at Asda.
Total amount at Mrt is £6.63 so you will get a 10p voucher. But if you use the JTD offer "Just the difference" for people who don't know you can get £3.63 refunded because Asda was cheaper.
You need 8 items to get the JTD so I would buy 3x different flavour basic stock for 10p and a loose gala apple, and loose carrot.
This makes the cereal effectivley free. Do this 5 times to get the maxium discount but in 5 seperate sales.
I did this last week and got 5x 300g nescafe for free. :o
    I hope this helps x

1st of my target of 5 grocery NSDs today. We've nowhere to go so playing at home today, maybe do some gardening this morning and see if the tots want to dig up some spuds.

Am loving all the bargains, but my best way is to avoid the shops altogether when possible...

That's what I do - I only get bargains when I've got to visit the shops anyway to try and control my spending!

Spent £10 yesterday on special offer toothpaste and razors. I try to only buy them and other toiletries when the offers are on as I hate paying full price for them :D.

Btw I've recently been trying own brand dishwasher tablets from Lid! (the really cheap ones) and they work really well. They were only about £1.50 (can't remember exact price) for 30. Also tried Sainsbugs own brand colour wash gel and that's good too but much cheaper than Ariel (and I'm not allergic to it which is a problem I have with a lot of clothes washing products). So all good :j.

Well, I spent an obscene amount of my budget last night, but need to work out how much was other stuff before I update, as didn't take my misc purse!

Hoping for a nsd today, strike that, WILL be a nsd! I got a lush-looking pork crackling joint last night for £3.74, reduced from £10.16, so we're having roast tonight! Also got 5kg of spuds for 47p, so that's most of the dinner sorted.

    Have a great day everyone!!

    Save for later

    Not bad:j

Just about to tuck into an easy n cheap dinner. Oh and sprogs are out trekking with cold bacon, crispy lettuce n mayo butties. I've broken my bacon up on top of a salad mountain of crispy lettuce, chilli, avocado, carrot shavings, cherry toms, cucumber and cabbage. I can only have stuff like this when the brood are out. I love the simplicity of salads. Zero cooking & maximum nutrition. Life's too full to cook really.
