Lloyds to charge for old Gold Service accounts

I always paid a fee of £10 for lloyds Gold account even when first opened in early 2000's, but I take it you have to leave so much in the account not to have been charged then?

Please could someone rectify on this? Am curious that's all

The original Gold account customers were given a choice - either keep £1500 in the account (now £2000) and have no fee or pay a monthly fee of £10 (now £12.95).
That option is no longer available.

I think only Silver and Platinum are now available to new customers.

hi all, i'm wondering is anyone still remember to avoid £12.95 charges, the min. balance of 2k must be kept daily or monthly? thanks

If you are on the free tariff then the balance must above £2k at all times (cleared balance) or you get charged for the month it goes under this amount.
