I would be interested in these window guards you mention. We live in a house and Benji has full run of the house. We can leave the window in my daughter's bedroom open as this leads to the pitched roof of our extension. However, the remaining upstairs double glazed windows are only ever open the tiny amount they can be, whilst still locked. When it is warm (should summer ever arrive), it would be nice to be able to open more windows to circulate some air. Before we had double glazing, my husband had put up plastic trellis in front of the windows, but can't do this with the double glazing.

Well I thought I would update this thread as Splat is now 10 n half weeks old, and has grown quite a bit already! She now has a real 'cat' face to!
