Amazing DELL Laptop Deals £328 Superb Spec XP or Vista
Comments
-
Dell are at it again, they have reduced prices twice in the past two weeks and this spec 1501 has come down from £386 to £353 and now to £328.
They have even provided customer choice of Vista or XP, I'd add the 6 cell battery for £11.
Deals are here, you can't buy better.

Huge spec, 15.4" widescreen, 120gig HD, 1gig memory, 256 graphics card (shared), WiFi
Don't bother ringing Dell to barter, I tried they won't !
Happy shopping.
For those who haven't purchased from Dell before, in order to get the best price alter the warranty in Hardware Support to 90 Days Collect and Return, you will still have a years warranty, but without the collect and return service.
Trying to get my head round the last four lines in above post.
If I order 90 day collect and return support, do I still get a Dell one year warranty.
Sorry if this is a silly question.0 -
YES, but the first 90 days will be at the expense of DELL who will araange for a courier to collect and return your goods.0

will i be able to install office 2003 on vista.
Also will the remaining applications like acrobat 7 / adobe photoshop cs work on vista.Inside I am THINKING.0 -
I bought one in October 2005 and even though I'd gone for the 90 day warranty they still collected it and returned it at their own expense when I was having problems last summer. Out of the five dells I've bought it's the only one I've ever had problems with...and I blame DD2 for that as she has problems with everything!0

you put the 305 in first box and N03153 in second box
there is no spaces :j
I've tried that, but, it keeps taking me to the premier.dell.com page
This is the page where I've been entering the evalue code:

Is that the one I should be using?0 -

4Cell 29WHr Primary battery [Included in Price]
6 Cell, 56Whr Lithium Ion Primary Battery [add £11.75 or £1/month1]
9 Cell, 85Whr Lithium Ion Primary Battery [add £35.25 or £1/month1]
I dont want a battery that will die as soon as i try and use the laptop mobile ( not pluged in the mains)
Also would the 56Whr & 85Whr batterys be flush with the laptop or will they be sticking out?
your advice is most welcomed.
cheers
If your main priority will be using it away from the mains for long durations then get the biggest one. I have the 6 cell version which can last up to 3 hrs with half bright screen setting. The 6 cell is flush with the bottom and I would expect the 9 cell to be too (just a little heavier).

I really want the Inspiron 6400 (£386.57), i would prefer Windows XP though but couldn't find this option online. I phoned Dell who advised you could get this with Windows XP Pro but it would cost £462.
Any ideas why this is much dearer than Vista, and any tips how i could get it with windows xp but cheaper? Any help appreciated.0 -

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -
