Only a few companies will cover to get a vehicle out of storage. Even then they may want to know the full circumstance before agreeing.
If the gf didn't explain it properly when she took the policy out they may have made the wrong decision. I'm not saying that is what happened but it could be a possiblility. Then when the WPC called and explained they decided to withdraw cover as circumstances didn't match their termsFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -

Nothing to do with the idiot who drove without insurance.
That seems to be a fair summary.0 -

Every single company I've ever insured with specifically includes recovering a vehicle from storage, providing that vehicle is the one named on the policy. So as I change every year, and use all the common names, I would question that.
As I said before, do you really expect every car to be left in storage forever?0 -

And there are regulations by the FSA reflected in the t&c's about withdrawing cover to stop them doing exactly what they have done here,0
