I'm quite surprised that no one hass mentioned the child's hospital appointment that her father refuses to allow her to attend. My understanding is that the child's rights are paramount, and surely she has the right to attend hospital appointments? I know from personal experience how long you sometimes have to wait to see a specialist, so cancelling could mean a wait of several more weeks. Although we don't know the reason for the appointment, it is reasonable to assume that the child should see the doctor sooner rather than later.

Many thanks for all your helpful and informative posts.
Daughter will be having legal advice on 1st aug. Should any of the extended family turn up for access, my daughter is going to refuse to allow gd to go.
As for the hospital appt, she will not be missing that, we can't go through another winter of constant tonsillitis.
Will try to keep you all updated on progress. Next contact visit is due on 27th July - watch this space.
