Hey,
I'm thinking about starting the CD (well, I say thinking, I've already emailed the nearest CDC)
Though I'll be starting on the 1000cal plan, as I'm under 18
Has anyone else ever done this?
On the 1000cal plan, I'm allowed some carbs - do you think it would be wise to cut them out for the first weeks?
Thanks,
Jenni x0 -

Hello!
The folks I know whom have done the 1000 plan still lose 2/3lbs per week with no problem. At 1000 you would be able to add a little more exercise than we can on SS or 790.
It might be a good idea to cut back a little on bread/potatoes/pasta and increase your water intake - the water intake is important on any diet not just on CD. Also cut out the sweets/cakes/biscuits in preparation.
Hope all goes well for you

HYDRATION CALCULATOR -
This is interesting since most folks don't drink enough water anyway.
Water intake is higher the more you weigh and depending on other issues.

CnQ You'd be a great counsellor on the CD! I've emailed two. Only got a response from one of them and even that wasn't very enthusiastic. x0

C & Q - Do you think you will become a CD counsellor when you have reached your target?
I think you really should because you know so much about it and are living proof and inspiration that it obviously works.
Is it something you have considered?0 -

Thank you!!
Yes my CDC has already asked me!!
I would enjoy it since my main source of income is from counselling and therapy work. It would just run along side.. Also, if anyone wanted 'counselling' on top, I could do a session or two per week at very low cost, maybe just £2 per session or similar.
I will be moving to another area where there is only 1 counsellor covering a huge span of miles.

I survived!!!!! Went to the restaurant last night! Told everyone I wasn't going to be eating. Responses varied, but in the main most people were supportive. I drank a litre of fizzy water & just got on with enjoying the company. I tried to see it as a reconnaissance mission as my partner promised he'd take me there when I get up to step 5/6. So I was looking at what other people were having & thinking I'll be able to have the same when I've lost the weight. I just won't go mad an order too much like used to do. This was such a hurdle for me as I have been worried about it since I started CD and now it's behind me.0

Well done aellon. I went to the pub last night and sat there with my pint of water. I felt so virtuous and no hangover today, yippee!! I also have 6 stone to lose and my 2nd weigh in is on Monday. I'm glad your partner is being so supportive, mine is just coming round to the idea. He walks round spraying air freshner every time he cooks!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
