Spud, would you have even considered a 10k walk six months ago? Now you can do it in quite an impressive time, with admittedly a fair bit of wobbly leg syndrome afterwards, but that will soon pass!

Maz - I know - jaffa cakes are part of my identity! :rotfl: What am I going to do??!

Good idea re the hot chocolate, I think I could do that. What a shame there isn't a wine flavoured one - I don't miss alcohol, but I do miss being able to have a nice glass of...anything!

It's sad I know, but I've taken to drinking water from a wine glass, just so I don't feel quite so deprived!! :D

OMG I am desperate to go for a run!!! How strange! Can't though, but I'll drag the kids out for a walk in a bit I think!

it's not about the run Spud!

It will be a lovely day I think - and the early start means we will have time for showers and changes of clothing etc before relaxing in the pub for a while!

I am so looking forward to it, even though I'm resigned to run/walking (Shhhh, don't tell anyone from you know where... :shhh: :D)

Because it sounded great fun, and you will feel wonderful afterwards Spud, a little knackered, (or maybe a lot) but totally exhilarated.
