Oh dear, still not really managing to stick to it. I think I've lost a pound maybe, but it's totm and I will be heavier for the next few days - my weigh in is on Thursday. I would love to still have a small loss but I'm not going to panic if I don't.
I have to eat something tomorrow, going to a friends for tea and she's quite upset with me for doing this diet (cos she's worried, not because she's unsupportive). So I have promised I will eat.
She's making a Sunday roast type thing, so if I just have chicken and veg, I'm hoping that wont do too much damage.
I'm not craving roast potatoes, sooo not bothered about yorkshire puddings (never really liked them anyway), but I'm a bit concerned about my lack of ability to say no to gravy!
I WILL BE STRONG! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Trouble is, she isn't being a friend if she is sabotaging your diet. Its really hard to get back on track after you've eaten. Let it be your choice, not her pushing you into it.
We are running race for life too, but in July. Good luck to you.Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb
Goal: 11st 10lb by my birthday in August

I'm letting her off for nagging me about it because she's a fantastic friend, but yep, she reeeeally doesn't want me to do the diet and would probably happily admit to sabotage... :rotfl:
I've told her I can only have a small portion, and only the chicken and veg, so hopefully it will be okay.
Good luck with your RFL too - I really struggled with the running for the first couple of weeks on CD but my energy levels seem to be back to normal now.
I've just realised today it's totm and I haven't craved chocolate! :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Good Morning Girls,
Well I am sorry to say you won't be getting a £1 each off me today!
I was a good girl all day yesterday, and resisted all temptations, even hubby cooking again;)
It actually worked though, I did nearly succumb to a mini cocktail sausage and a slice of tongue, but thought about having to come and own up on here, and all the hassle of writing letters to everyone so stayed my hand, oh I feel so angelic:A.
So same deal today, If I don't SS 100%, you are all in for a £1 again.
Have a great CD day everyone:p
It is hard isn't it snaggles, the social side of eating, (and drinking!) my son is desparate for us to have a BBQ. When you go out or get invited to friends houses it always seems to revolve around food. I must admit to having to avoid invitations. The worst ones are working lunches, it would look a bit daft to take out clients and then get out a choc tetra:D0 -
WARNING TO WOMEN!
You've heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.
My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine?
I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans.
And then the thieves struck again.
My bum was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new bum was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I'd have to give up my jeans in favour of long skirts.
Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was drying my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush.. This was really getting scary - my body was being replaced one section at a time.
What could they do to me next?
When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided to tell my story. Women of the world wake up and smell the coffee! Those 'plastic' surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts -stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something 'lifted', look again - was it lifted from you?
THIS IS NOT A HOAX. This is happening to women everywhere every night.
WARN YOUR FRIENDS!
P.S. Last year I thought some one had stolen my Boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.
Thought this was too 'important' not to pass on Have a wonderful day - with a joy filled heart BTW - These same thieves come in my closet and shrank my clothes!
How do they do it????0 -
ooooh sue! thanks for the cautionary tale!! :rotfl:
well done on the 100% day! you're very honest!
I was also 100% yesterday am pleased to say, and managed a 6 mile run while Erin was in Brownies, so double pleased....
I'm mildly annoyed actually as i was farting around with my scales last night as i thought the marker doodhah had moved from zero, so i moved it back and got the lowest reading ever this morning.... but i'm pretty sure it was a false one as doubt i dropped 5 lbs overnight!! need to go to old faithful leisure centre scales and reassess where i am......... god i wish i wan't such a scale hopper!!! - well i suppose it's better than being a massive hopper which i was before :rotfl:
Here's to another positive day! <<< water of course!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
