Lol Sue!! :rotfl: I am still chuckling about the boobs... :rotfl:

Well done on your run Maz, did you find any problems with carrying on running at all? My energy levels are only just returning to normal, and the furthest I've run since being on CD is just over 4k (not great when the Leeds 10k is in less than 5 weeks :o).

I try and limit my scale hopping to once in the middle of the week, but did have a look after my humungous gain, and it did help to drop that 6lbs and keep me going.

Well done on that run Maz, I totmed yesterday and really couldn't face it last night, but did get out with Big Dunc for half an hour.

Snaggles, the boobs bit is the bit that rang a bell with me and made me smile the most:rotfl:

When I was being sooo good after the first 10 days or so I found that my energy levels were fantastic, I felt so much better, was walking taller, faster and stronger, running, the last couple of weeks when I lost the plot a bit, the difference in energy levels was amazing, I just felt so bloated and lethargic, it was taking me all my time just to drag myself around the block with Dunc.

Been back on Track now since Friday, (apart from blip on Sunday) and already can feel the difference. Last nights walk was, well don't know how to describe it, sort of bouncier, if that makes sense at all. Just felt much stronger overall.

my running has improved a lot, and apart from week 1 where i was advised not to run, and i was so grumpy it would've been pointless, i've had no problems... my distances have just got greater and greater from 2-3miles to 6, so pretty pleased. As you know i was running for aaaages before that but not really making any great developments...

it helps that i've dropped 4 stone of course, that's got to have helped things....

i will admit to sometimes fuelling the odd long run with a jaffa cake or two directly before running, thinking i would burn them off but not done that for a long time....... now i just time my shakes better and manage on 3 a day on run days... no extras, well no extras that i pass off as running related!! lol!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Yes that makes a lot of sense actually, I had a similar thing last week - I went running and instead of it being hard work, I felt like I could have run forever, and I was having to hold myself back from going too fast because I had energy bubbling up inside me....it was very odd, but nice.

Circumstances (and maybe hormones) seem to have wiped my energy a bit this week, but if I stick to the diet and drink plenty, I think I'll feel a lot better (I think I'm already starting to).

Just nearly ate crisps  my daughter pinched some from the kitchen cupboard and I had to take them back. I was drooooooooling because I wanted to eat them sooo much! But then I realised I hadn't had any shakes yet today, so I had one of those instead and the crisp craving has gone! :D

You do seem to have suddenly progressed massively with the running Maz :T

Funny you should mention the first week - my CDC told me not to run at all, but the CD website said it was fine to continue with existing levels of exercise. So I ran on day 4....so so tired! Then I had a shower and I was shaking like a leaf and couldn't lift my arms up to wash my hair! :rotfl: What a state!!

Jaffa cake before a run you say.... :D

You know what's weird??? I'm not craving Jaffa Cakes!!!!

    <faint>

    i don't believe it!!!

I do that whole i want something but as long as i have a shake first then i can usually body swerve the craving.... it's night time when i've no shakes left to have that i struggle.... have seen me use half a sachet of choc shake as a hot chocolate to stave off cravings at night... so 3.5packs that day.

Spud - yours has improved already!!! You've gone from nothing more than walking to school to run/walking on a treadmilll 3-4 times a week... that's a real improvement.... Rome wasn't built in a day! And considering you've lost over a stone and half it can only get easier...
