    Hello all,
I have been reading this thread for ages. Brief history, around 4 years ago I did CD and lost around 4 stone - then gradually put it all back on. So 25/3 went back with OH to start again. OH could not cope at all and dropped out very quickly. Weigh in was
    25/3 14 03
    1/4 13 09
    8/4 13 05
    15/4 13 02
    23/4 13 00

And weigh in tonight. However I have completely lost the plot and eaten lots (not to mention the wine!). So feeling very  with myself. Need to face the music and get weighed then back to awful first day feeling v hungry. I would like to lose three stone (plus whatever I have put back on!) Thought actually posting might make me stop - so now I not only have to face my counsellor but all of you.

Hope everyone else is feeling confident and keeping to the diet!!

    Maggie

day one of going back on sole source for me......only for a week or two...

finding it hard....although i have noticed its ten past one and I haven't had a shake...

see i am not hungry I just want to eat something......so I will have my shake now (strawberry) and will get office girly to get me some cottage cheese to munch on (my cd woman said 50g of low fat cottage cheese will make no difference on sole source) when she goes out in a bit.

Then shake at dinner and will then lock myself in my office to do some work, as I think that might be the only thing that will get me through the night....

I must admit Goldy, I feel like you a lot of the time, taking a consious decision to eat, is good, but then its very hard to get out of the, "oh just a bit more isn't going to matter now"

I was really disappointed with this week, next week I know will be a problem, I have a lunch meeting on Tuesday, taking clients to the races on Wednesday and have people staying over the following weekend. So this week I really wanted a good week, knowing that next week will be a bit of a right off.

Unfortunately after developing a migrane on Monday, which was still hanging around yesterday, I couldn't do my running, and I ate toast (and butter) to keep the nausea at bay. Also couldn't stomach the water at all.

I am feeling much better today, although a little tired still, but it is really hard to pull yourself back in the saddle and move forward.

In the past I have given up, just thought sod it, and gone back to my old ways. This time though, I find that I want to do better, visiting the forum helps, you almost don't want to spoil it because you don't want to let everyone else down. Everyone looks forward to each others WI's.
As I said in an earlier post, sometimes you even feel like stretching the truth because you don't want to demotivate anyone. But its also good for everyone to know that you can mess up, and still lose weight, and that we are all human.

If you are having a bad week, sometimes you just need to accept it and move forward, try and focus on what you want when you have lost all the weight and refind the reasons you started the diet in the first place.

My personal thing I find that helps is going out with the dog, and doing the running program, the exercise helps me focus a little better aswell as being a distraction.

Good Luck - and don't give up - every little bit helps in the end.

Thanks Duncan!! You are right, it really helps talking to everyone on here. Weigh in is tomorrow and I think once I get over the fact that I won't have lost anything I can wipe the slate clean so to speak and feel better again. Thanks!!

Have been struggling to get back on track after a party at the weekend where I ate and drank a bottle of wine. Lets try and get back on track together eh?!

    Hi everyone.

    How you all doing?

Welcome maggie - you have done very well.

Looking forward to the bank holiday weekend anyway. At least we get to have Monday off. Its always a struggle with food when I am not in work though and OH will no doubt want to go out and eat at some point over the weekend. if we do eat out, we like to go to harvester coz you can order grilled chicken breast and then just have the lettuce, carrots etc at the salad bar.

Anyone doing anything nice for the bank holiday?
If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A
