OO new York I am so jelous.

Well done princess that is a fantastic loss.

I am struggling today. I have only managed 2.5 litres of water so far, it is usually almost 3 by now. Someone was leaving in my work and they brought in loads of cream cakes. I did resist but it was my first day of real temptation and i didn't like it.

My pal just came over and ate a whole chinese right next to me. The vein in my head nearly poppped! I just chugged down 2 pints of water and a cuppa black tea. Bit of a bad moment. Ah well, i survived. Ooh look! Day 4 is about to start. Goody.... :(
    Still to go: 24lbs

Well done! That's a great loss. I've not had a good week. Had consciously chosen to eat and drink at a close friend's birthday party on Saturday and had about a bottle of wine, a big bit of lasagne and salad and some crisps. The next couple of days I have had a few biscuits and found it hard to get back on track. Weigh in is tomorrow. Had a real miserable evening yesterday battling with my head, shall I just email the counsellor and say I can't do this its too hard or shall I carry on. Anyway, I've decided to carry on and see how I go. Its roughly another 8lb to get back to the target weight I reached last year and then I had planned to go another stone and reach 10lb. It's just so BORING!

    Not a happy person!

Look MrA and i have both been eating and been struggling but we have kept trying and kept loosing weight
dont beat yourself up bout it its not worth it!

Just keep trying and the weight will come off. you are not far too goal now really maybe another month? why dont you move up a plan so you can have a small meal? thats really helped us.

Please dont give up. even though you did eat its still less calories that you would have eaten if not doing cambridge. we still have to have a life so dont berate yourself too much we are only human! xx
If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:

    miserable biatch alert -

i am pee'd off today.... TOTM is on (which hopefully accounts for last weeks gain, will wait and see) but i am sore and fed up, and my belly feels hungry.......

i went to flicks last night with erin, and picked on probably 10-15 pieces of popcorn, which i'm not gonna beat myself up about as before i'd have munched my way thru a massive bag of the sweet stuff! Or even worse nom nom nom nom butterkist!

then took erin to BK for her tea, resisted entirely, which was brill.....

then went to asda and didn't get tempted by anything naughty there either...

so yesterday was a day of triumphs, today i think is going to be a battle of wills!!!!

    ibuprofen anyone?
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)

I must admit Goldy, I feel like you a lot of the time, taking a consious decision to eat, is good, but then its very hard to get out of the, "oh just a bit more isn't going to matter now"

I was really disappointed with this week, next week I know will be a problem, I have a lunch meeting on Tuesday, taking clients to the races on Wednesday and have people staying over the following weekend. So this week I really wanted a good week, knowing that next week will be a bit of a right off.

Unfortunately after developing a migrane on Monday, which was still hanging around yesterday, I couldn't do my running, and I ate toast (and butter) to keep the nausea at bay. Also couldn't stomach the water at all.

I am feeling much better today, although a little tired still, but it is really hard to pull yourself back in the saddle and move forward.

In the past I have given up, just thought sod it, and gone back to my old ways. This time though, I find that I want to do better, visiting the forum helps, you almost don't want to spoil it because you don't want to let everyone else down. Everyone looks forward to each others WI's.
As I said in an earlier post, sometimes you even feel like stretching the truth because you don't want to demotivate anyone. But its also good for everyone to know that you can mess up, and still lose weight, and that we are all human.

If you are having a bad week, sometimes you just need to accept it and move forward, try and focus on what you want when you have lost all the weight and refind the reasons you started the diet in the first place.

My personal thing I find that helps is going out with the dog, and doing the running program, the exercise helps me focus a little better aswell as being a distraction.

Good Luck - and don't give up - every little bit helps in the end.

Well Done Maz, I am so impressed, mmm Butterkist, I havent had that for ages. I banned it in the house because invariably the kids would spill it and I couldn't get it out of the carpets!!!
