Hi everyone...I'm still here! Been so busy with the kids home from school, DH on leave etc that I haven't been able to get on PC. Anyway kids and DH both packed off again so I've finally been able to catch up on the thread which BTW has exploded!! Great to see so many people joining us!! Still plodding on with CD, have now cracked the 12's.....haven't been 12 st something since I got married 8 years ago!!
Happy birthday to Welsh x

well done poggy! i hope to be in the 12's by my weigh in on sunday.... (god willing!!)
Re the purple pee stix thing - mine is always darker first pee of the day, or after running..... seldom get a very purple one but i'm happy with anything above the flesh tones... although i have been know to debate it so long the colour fades!! lol!!!!!
I just thought maybe the visual cue of ketosis or not would help... if i'm honest it keeps me in line... i know now what i can get away with without knocking me out of ketosis and what i can't....
now i know that it's not all about being in ketosis, it's about a certain number of calories per day etc etc... but ketosis is a factor so worth keeping in line....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I am not drinking half as much water as I should do now....i also find if I eat some low fat cottage cheese in the afternoon....just a couple of teaspoons it keeps the hunger (and chocolate cravings at bay!)Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

c'mon sammy - you're my inspiration! you've got to stay on track!!
cottage cheese - not something i ever ate in my life until lately.... i had it with pickled red cabbage (ditto - never in my life) the cabbage i will body swerve but cottage cheese, well maybe... but i'd have to be really hard up for something to eat!!!
i find if i have nothing in that i like, then i can't eat it.... durrrr obviously.... so i have to get sensible head on when shopping and buy only things i don't like for the others....
even then it won't always stop me...!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

oh I love cottage cheese, with a cup of coffee to wash it down....it has to be with chives though.
I really found last week in Spain - when i gave myself a few days off that I actually have really gone off the taste of some foods! which is a good thing...I seem to be developing taste buds...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Aww, ta for checking on me girls. I'm fine thanks. I've been in school all day working really hard
I feel great, I've not slept as well in years as I am on this diet. I told a few people in work today, and they were so supportive, bless em :T
Cant wait for weigh in though, just need to know officially it's working. I guess I need reassurance because I've still not felt hungryIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
