Running today was good... 4.5miles (was meant to be 3.5miles kept going as was having fun!!)

I've got a 5k run at Balmoral next saturday, and my DD erin is doing a 1.5k too... she got a mile run in today in training as well, bless her..

plus i took her to horseriding this morning....

i hope her legs are so sore tomorrow so she doesn't get out of bed!!

I love horseriding!! my reward to myself when i get to goal is an arab (have not owned a horse for years) and have gotten to big for my fave breed :)

I am hoping to start running again when more of the weight is gone (i cant risk more damage to the knees at this weight though!) but will try and build up fitness walking first

How do you cope calorie-wise with running?

I'm coping alright, didn't run first week as felt so bleugh, but other than that it's been fine.... always make sure i have something half an hour before a run, whether it be a shake (or 2 jaffa cakes...! :naughty: me!!) i've been known to have 4 shakes on run days but not always.....

i've never ridden (apart from Rancho Grande horseriding in Spain!) and said to Big G today that i might have a bash at it if Erin sticks in with it.... i'm not sure if it's very me, but it would be a nice thing to have as a sometimes hobby...

We will have doen four weeks at the next weigh in.

Its really be fits and starts though with bits of food along the way, If i think back to what i was eating before and the fact that i have lost 17pounds so far (could have done better but hey) it is a huge improvement.

I would suggest try not to eat anything carby if you can help it as you will have to 'start all over again' with the first few days :)

which is what i am doing now :)

You're doing really well Alpha :T

I wouldnt like to back to the beginning, so will try really hard not to cheat at all. I think for me, the money is a factor too. I aint spending £50 a week, only to cheat. Ever the MSE'r ehh :p

Day 3 for me and having a good day. Had a choc mint shake for brekkie, and having a mushroom soup in a minute. So far havent had a shake or soup that I dont like :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
