    Good Luck Spud!!!

I think Maz, you should keep going, with all your running you should feel so wonderful and will be able to maintain so much better than me!

(I have thought about the treadmill - almost every night, but after I have been out with the dog, I just collapse on the couch) One step at a time eh!

Thanks Duncan... i probably will want to... 10st 5.5lbs is top of healthy BMI 25 for my height.....

Once i get below 13 that will be the lowest in my adult life, and that was just before i got back with Big G and quickly fell pregnant with Erin, i was living a single girl life, socialising and drinking loads, not eating much and working out 3 times a week....... prior to that i was probably 15 stone anyway from about the age of 16... so have never been skinny, ever... and don't have a skinny me to aim for or use as reference...

I don't even know whether i have a small frame or not? i always thought i was big/heavy boned! lol!!!

I said 12 stone as my goal weight because i didn't think i'd ever even get there to be honest! i thought it was a massive target...! CDC said it is still in overweight range but let me set it as main goal... i think 10 and a half is looking likely as a good aim.. but get to 12stone for now.......

:confused:I always thought I was "big boned", but my CDC has this new all singing all dancing weighing machine and apparently my bones only weight about 6 lbs:confused:

So - no excuses there then.

I would love to get down to 9st, 7 eventually.
I have hols booked for 13 weeks and 5 days away, so if I can drop 3st from my start weight before then I would be over the moon.

(Although I havent any money for a new holiday wardrobe, which has accumalated lots of fat clothes over the years - but I suppose all you need is a cossie or two)

Calling Lisa, where are you? How did you get on?

Going to have to go home now, which means I will have to log on at home to check.
Mind you I will need to anyway, tried to upload avatar pics and its not working here and I don't have many on this PC.

    Bye for now everyone.
  • Hello everyone, I am back....

Thanks everyone for saying such nice things and thinking of me while I was gone, hugs to all.

CDC is lovley, I felt quite at ease after the initial panic and shakes I had to begin with. She assured me lots and told me I CAN DO THIS. So there we are I can. and I will.

I am starting CD in the morning. with a shake, must remember to read distructions on making it Must be simple right? So I am doing 2 shakes and a soup a day and I must have all 3 portiona a day. CDC mentioned about making Vanilla shake with a hot water and adding a teaspoon of coffee to it as a latte? Might give that a go.

Well I had a shocker, I am heavier than I first thought and had my mesurements taken aswell GULP. No Pic taken though. but I think I will get husband to do that for me tonight. I will hask him to put it on his pc and in a few weeks time I will have a look and compare.

I am really excited to start. losing a stone a month is amazing and I want to achieve that so I will feel better in myself.

My husband is so supportive too. honeslty I don;t know why i didn;t decide to do it sooner.

Spud You will be in with CDC as I post this, I am sending you good vibes babes, let us know how you are doing asap.

I have to go now for a bit as I am about to have my last supper wich is chicken fajitas. Might not have Fajita though, Anyway I will be back in a bit.

    Love to you all,

    Lisa. xxxx

Hi Lisa. Well done for getting started. I tend to put two ice cubes into a jug with the water and blitz with a hand blender first, then add the shake powder, then blitz again. Comes out like a slushpuppy (kind of!). It will be hard for the first week, but by week two or three you will get into it. Keep telling yourself that when you are reaching for that fridge door!!

Maz I have just had a chocolate velvet and I can't believe I didn't have a try of them before. Not quite Galaxy but they are pretty good aren't they?! Shall we having lots of those next week.
