I am going tonight hun, appointment at 5.30

Me and DH both work odd hours, so I think we're hoping for a Monday morning weigh in too ;)

So will you have a short first week? or a long one? if you plan to start on saturday?

Nice to have a long first week, as you'll get an extra big loss!!

remember you'll need enough packs for 2 days plus the week...

i'd steer away from starting on a monday morning... break that whole diet starts on monday cycle....!

Spud - seriously don't worry about it. You will probably be horrified by your weight at first (i was). Now i am 2 stone lighter i am actually disgusted with myself for letting it get out of hand the way it did and I know i never want to be that heavy ever again. Stick with this for 1 week and the results will be amazing.

I still wanted to quite after doing 1 week, but CD convinced me to do 1 more week. Exactly the same for the third week - now he doesn't even need to ask me - i just get what i need and don't consider packing it in. It is sooooo hard, but it does get easier.

This diet isn't very sociable and you will need to give up drinking and eating out with friends, but after a few weeks you will be able to do those things, but be sensible about it. I never drink now and i was a massive wino. I used to drink a bottle a nigth with OH. Now water suits me fine and i feel so much better for it.

Don't keep having bad thoughts about this diet - think positive all the time and imagine yourself in 6 months time wearing the clothes you want and looking fantastic.
If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A

Well, the other day we could do is Friday, maybe that would be better. Not sure the budget will stretch to a week and a halfs packs this week :o

I WONT be starting anything on Monday, I must've started a diet on around 50 Mondays over the past year. I'm good ehh :o

I'm just really private Welsh, so is DH. I cant even get on the scales in front of my kids :o

I'm not having negative thoughts, it's just the fear of the unknown.

As for the social side, we owe these friends a takeaway, they bought us last week. After that, they'll be fine about it. In fact, when we go to theirs, I always drink water anyway, so they're used to that. We dont ever go to pubs etc, so that wont be a problem for us :D

Argh Spud. If I lived closer I would come and hold your hand.

Remember, as Maz said, your CDC will have been in exactly the same position as you before doing this diet.

I was heavier than my CDC when he started the diet and its a bloke!!!! How embarrasing is that!

Will be thinking about you and if you really feel like you are struggling, then come on here and have a chat with us about it. We won't judge or criticise you on here - promise.
