Well done, that is fantastic! What a motivation to keep going! I am just beginning day 3. Found it a real struggle yesterday and was having a battle in my head, why am I doing this again its so hard! Hoping that I find it easier today but having to cook for my kids is testing. Keep telling myself I can either be fat and miserable or on the Cambridge diet and miserable ha ha.Slimming World: SD: 2.05.16 SW: 13st10lb
Goal: 11st 10lb by my birthday in August

Woo hoo - well done Maz. Thats great. You are well on your way now.
Welcome Welsh Wobble - let us know how you are getting on through the week.
I haven't been able to post on here for a few days. Kept telling me that my post had to be more than 10 characters long!!!! Hopefully back to normal now though. If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -
5lb is fantastic Maz, Well done.
Goldfinch, Don't give up, the first week or two is definitely the hardest.
I have just completed my first week and lost *****9LB****:j
I am made up, so pleased and raring to go for week 2 - target 3LB, so I have filled in my chart and I am raring to go.

Thanks everyone for your support over the last couple of days - it really makes a difference you know.:T0 -
I had a day in the week where I just didn't fancy cooking for my 10yo. He can cook a few things, omlettes, fish, super noodles, tinned things on toast, plus he makes cakes, pancakes etc.
I paid him a pound to cook his own tea, (he picked spagetti and sausages on toast), then another 50p to make his own packed lunch!!!
Mind you I still got left with the washing up!!0 -

morning guys!
Duncan i am peeing myself laughing at the notion of paying people to cook for themselves, i wish i could afford to do that!! and even bigger lol at still having to do the dishes though!! Well done on a brill loss mate!!
Goldfinch, i was pure miserable for the first 2-3 days and then once you're past it, it gets a lot easier... the tough times are worth it for the losses...!
Stick around here, this board is great for getting through the tough times!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Its not very money saving is it!
Although he dosent get pocket money as such, if he wants money he has to do jobs to earn it, which sounds good in theory, the downside is if you ask him for help with anything now, he always asks "How Much will I get?".:rolleyes:0 -
