I started the CD 3 weeks ago and so far i have lost 17lbs, i had lost slightly more but i went on holiday and lapsed a little but i am dedicated now and have even got my hubby on it too, easier as only food in the house is for my little boy.
Has anyone tried the chocolate bars?? I just do not like them!

Its great to see soooo many people succeeding, keep up the good work everyone xx:T :T :T :T :T :T

i wish my OH would go on it! mind you, would probably end up feeding DD nothing but chicken nuggets, fish fingers and pizza if she wasn't eating smaller portions of what i cook for OH...

I'm just up the road from you RGB, kinda, near Laurencekirk!

    Keywee how are you doing?

I didn't get far at the weekend but I knew it would be difficult and so am not beating myself up. I'm going to have another go today I can't be soft on myself for too long.

so how do you lot strategise the process...do you try and hold out in the morning as long as poss before slurping your first packet, or do you go for breakfast and space it out during the day?

i was holding off til lunchtime but my CDC says like a normal diet you should eat early to kick start your metabolism off each day.... so i've had a breakfast one (usually a tetra in the car on the way to work) every day...

one for a late lunch @ 2 o'clock, and one as a late evening meal @ 7o'clock... easier for men to space them out as they have 4 a day....

  • Nothing to do with CD I know, but is anyone else not receiving Martins weekly e.mail? Several other people I know haven't had one since the 28th January and I had a computer whizz check mine out, he said the problem was at MSE's end.

Hi everyone. Just been reading through some of this thread and am totally inspired by you all. Have decided to bite the bullet and sign up for the CD. Am a bit sceptical, as i have tried Slimming world, weight watchers, etc, but if I don't try, I suppose I will never know! Have sent an email to my local counsellor and just waiting for a reply now. How much does it cost by the way?
    Thanks xx
