Funniest thing I've read all week from the woman who posts on about fifteen different forums daily - with a different life on each of them....
Are you saying she lied about her entire life? Had she done CD, or not?

Both great forums Miss Jen :)

All the best for the 29th. Have you started cutting your carbs down? It really helps with those first few days.

I am going to see a CD counsellor on the 7th Jan for the first time...can I ask you lovely people - do you think 11 stone is too light to be going on to the cambridge diet. I am currently a size 14

I am 5' 2" and was always 8 stone 2 up until I was thirty. In the last ten years I have steadily put 3 stone on and no matter what I do I can't shift the pounds. I have tried weight watchers, slimming world, exercise, running and seeing a nutritionist, nothing seemed to work.

So many people say I don't need to diet but my BMI is 27 and I am uncomfortable with my weight, as well as having a wardrobe full of clothes that don't fit....

  • No it isn't too light to be doing CD, your CDC will put you on a plan that is suitable to your BMI. Some people do the diet to loose only 1 stone, there is a plan suitable to most people.

Good luck with starting the diet.

    Hi All

Could you tell me how much the Cambridge products cost please? I am really interested in starting, have been on official Cambridge website, but no mention of money! Also, I would like to know how & when you get weighed (I know you have to stand on scales), collect products, choose products etc. There are about 5 counsellors I could choose from in my area, do you know if they all charge the same?

    Thanks for you help.

I'm not sure of the current price but it is around £35 for 21 meals. This is a weeks supply for a women under 5ft 8in. Otherwise you will need an extra pack a day.

You should find out 2 or 3 counsellors in your area and ask them about how they work with weighing etc as they all have there own styles. My counsellor just used to phone me for my weight but most weigh and measure you at their homes each week.

Speaking to a few counsellors before you start will help you find someone you are comfortable with as a good relationship is very important for your success on the diet.

    Good Luck

    Very good idea.
Slowly decreasing carb intake and increasing water intake will help ease the path into ketosis, and you may lose a few pounds to boot!! :D
  • Start of the new year, got rid of all that excess food and now down to serious business. Restarting CD today going do ss with 4 shakes, or should i say porridge. that is such a lifesaver, and the apple and cinnamon one is to die for.
