Think they are similar in theory, ive heard people say they preffer cambridge food + its cheaper. Think Lighter life you have group sessions where with cambridge its private but at the same time it up to the councilor how much time they give, so if you arnt happy with a councilor you can move to another.

Hi I need some help! i started the CD a few months ago and just did it losing 4 stone in 10 weeks, but then i came off the diet due to severe constipation even though i drank 4 litres of water a day....i have now put back on 21ilbs and feel a real failure because despite trying everyday to get back onto it i dont seem to be able to do it....

I started reading these forums looking for inspiration and i will start again tomorrow but some support and advice would be great.....icon7.gif
Get some laxatives for emergency or use the cambridge fibre powder everyday which should keep things moving.

Well done on the weight loss to start with.

You need to get your mind back into gear in order to be able to stick to any diet but particularly when it is a Plan without food as such.

Sit yourself down and make a list of all the reasons you want to be slim, make it as comprehensive as possible.

Get all the old 'fat' photos of you out and have a good look at those.

If you have any pre-fat photos look at those too.

Decide where you want to be

    Then go for it!

Hope all goes well for you

A lot of folk start out with LL and move to Cambridge simply due to the cost of LL.

As BigCraigJohn says it is mostly down to the Group Sessions. The products are, apparently, made at the same factory!

You need to find a CDC you gel with. So have a chat on the phone and see what you think. Then go for it.

Hope all goes well for you. Cambridge is a fabulous plan. I have lost 13 stones on Cambridge and would recommend the diet to anyone.

    Hi everyone

I have been on CD for 14 weeks now and have lost four stone. I saw my CDC yesterday and she said that as it is leading up to Christmas, I can drop down to 2 sachets a day until after Christmas. Does anyone know where I can get a list of foods from that I am allowed to eat as part of my main meal?

Also, I am going to a party on Thursday (3 course meal) and I have heard that I may get gallstones as I have not eaten real food for so long. Does anyone know if this is true?

    Thanks for your help!!

    Becky

  • Hi

Your CDC should have provided you with the Yellow Weight Care with Cambridge booklet. Give her a ring and ask for a copy.

This lists all the foods you should be having. You have 2 packs a day, plus a breakfast, lunch and dinner form the list.

Try the new Apple and Cinnamon porridge is lovely and filling.
