I had my first weigh-in tonight, and have lost 10lbs, i cant believe it.
However, CDC told me not to expect same next week, weight loss will be less. She said you either get small weight loss on week 1 and a big weight loss on week 2 or vice versa --- so please dont give up hope Saint!
Have been feeling great today, lots of energy, best I've felt in a while.

My first week's loss was 17lbs then I had about 8 weeks of 4lbs each week.
Some folks lose 3lbs per week all the way.
Some folks lose 4lbs then 8lbs then 6lbs then 3lbs
Just one of those things.0 -

Hi Suzy,
I had exactly the same problem - trapped wind and a really bad stomach but this passed after the first week. Remember though, you'll probably not go as often as you're not eating as much rubbish! If it continues speak with your CDC as they have a fibre supplement which should help with the problem. If that doesn't work try Senekot. Take 2 tablets at night before you go to bed and be ready in the morning:eek:.
It all seems to happen in the first week - headaches, tiredness, constipation but it's just your body adapting to the change.
Stick in and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful weight loss when you get weighed.

Saint,
Don't be downhearted - this is a great loss. Like CnQ said you'll probably see a big weight loss next week. Even though I'd had a couple of occasions last week I'd been really good on the other days and stayed the same yet this week I've lost 7lbs! The diet literature states you will lose on averaged a stone a month so base your weight loss on this and go by a monthly basis rahter than weekly.
Look at the positive side - only 3lbs to go before you've lost half a stone!
Stick in and remember - come on here and have a 'chat' if you;re feeling a little down! Someone will respond!LBM 1st May 2012 £53,839

thanks
but guess what i ate tonight
not to bad, but i had a tiny piece of tuna steak
hubby left it and i ate it.
i don't feel to bad now, because it could have been something worse like toffee
but i do feel a bit down.
And i've not been the toilet as well, so i'll have to get something tomorrow as well
good luck all and hang in there.0 -
dont feel bad its only a bit of tuna wont do any damage it protein youll be fine... i had a bit of chicken yesterday ... like u said could of been a lot worse ..2morrows another day:j0

im on day 7 and ive made a decision that if its gets so unbareable ill have a slice of chicken or turkey only a small slice though and only if its make or break cos id rather do that that ruin all my good work . this diet some people sail through and some have a bumpy ride. but its wat ever is best 4 u and if your only downfall is a bit of protein now and then i think your gonna do very well :T0
