The lack of sleepiness is due to cutting the carbs!
Carbs cause fatigue - the more carbs you have the more fatigued you will be.

When I went away on a camp (where I knew I would be up at 6am every morning) I specifically went back to 3 shakes a day (I had been on 1000, where you only have 2 shakes) because I knew it helped me feel less tired and made it easier to get out of bed in a morning!
I have lost 1 of the 3 lbs I gained on my holiday, so 2 more to go, then it's just the last stone to get rid of0 -
well every1 its nearly the end of another day and just having my last cambridge ..chick and mushroom soup.. ive found that ova the last few days ive been really hungry at nite so im hoping that having the soup might make things easier.. had a couple of moments here and there 2day but on the whole felt ok ... hope u have all had a good day 2day and been good:T0

Good Evening everyone,
Time to check in again. Well done CnQ - more weight lost since the last time I logged on! Congrats and hopefully you'll have reached your target before the op!
Well, had a funny few weeks. Hubby took me away for the weekend last week - NO KIDS!!! Didn't know what to do with ourselves but it was lovely. Spoke to CDC about what was going to happen whilst I was away (I'm still on SS) and she was great, she told me "Go and enjoy yourself - look at what you've lost so far (25lb in 5 weeks at this point) So I did, but, dear me - I couldn't eat a great deal and dessert was a no go!! First time ever.:j
Anyway, then had a Christening and my DS2 1st Birthday so when I came to get weighed on Wednesday I STS. I was a little disappointed with this but CDC said - "you haven't put on have you?", so that helped me. So, since then I've been fab - stuck to SS completely and I've lost another 7lbs since my WI on Wednesday! Absolutely over the moon.
For those just starting on CD - very best of luck to you, it's the best diet I've ever done. If you miss chewing then try the cranberry bars - they are fab and my favourite. And to the person who claims to have never done the CD yet goes on to drag it down and say all the weight will go back on - I've done both SW and WW, lost 4 stone on each and put it all back on once I started eating 'properly' again (i.e mixing my protein and carbs). I was also sick to death of WW meals (which in their own right cost an absolute fortune) so please don't preach about a diet you know nothing about as it puts other people off. With this diet, you know what you're allowed, no messing about weighing things, looking at fat content etc. The only thing that goes in your mouth is your packs and copious amounts of water! Anything else will hamper your weight loss.
Phew, what a sermon - you can tell I've not been on for a long time.
Right, Ill sign off now. Good luck to all for our continued weight loss and here's to a slimmer bunch of stunners who WILL be wearing little black numbers this Chrimbo!
Night all

Well done on behaving yourself!
The bars are more chewy if they have been kept in the fridge.
I will be in maintenance before the op - am going to arrange to have the op after I have reached goal and am off plan altogether. I can't do any cambridge plan for 6 weeks after surgery, so want to be in maintenance. Will arrange it that way.
With any diet we will regain the weight if we go back to eating the junk we ate before we started the diet, simple as that. Throught maintenance Cambridge teaches us good eating habits for life.
Have a great CD day

well done on your 1st week im sure youve done fantastic. im on day 6. got up 2day in agony though
think its constipation (sorry 4 that 1st thing) but its killin me. ive gone from 1 extreme to the other 2 days ago i had the runs and now this ...pretty sure thats wat it is . suppose its quite a big shock for the system going on this diet so it will take time 4 everything to get used to this way of eating. anyway i had a sneeky peek on the scales this morning and i know that all scales weigh different but i seem 2 have lost 8lbs so im very happy bout that i dnt get weighed till wednesday so yipee :j .hey and good luck in ya weigh in im sure u wont need it bet u done fab :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
