A lil bit of tuna won't do any harm :)

And 4lbs is a great loss!
My average is 2.3 lbs per week, I'd be ecstatic with 4!

Suzy - since you're on day 7, it should be alot easier from now.
My first week dragged on forever, and then the next few just flew by.

The Cambridge Fibre89 is the best choice for constipation, but I always used Fibresure because it was so much cheaper. :)

I've lost my holiday weight now :D so I'm quite happy.

I can’t believe what I’m reading here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with food, and feeling guilty about eating, is absolutely tragic.
These companies make a fortune on other people miseries, and as far as I’m concerned they should be shut down.
I don’t mean to be harsh, I mean to be supportive. All you need to lose weight is a calorie counter, you can then eat whatever you want. You very quickly learn that you can eat more vegetables for your calories than carbohydrates, and more fruit than a tiny slice of cake, or chocolate bar.
For many overweight people food is a crutch, and these despicable companies remove that crutch and replace it with theirs which puts money in their pockets, and empties yours.
You can buy a calorie counter for small change, or there are many online FREE ones like this here
    http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/calories/calorie_counter.htm
If you are already resolved to lose weight, then keep the money in your own pocket, in fact, I challenge you to a 1000 calories a day of whatever you fancy, then calculate what you saved each week in money, and lost in weight.
I hope I haven’t offended anyone, but I hate money grabbing jackals that prey on the misfortunes of others, and if you need support, well, you already have it right here, just look at the size of this thread.

So what if they make money?

We get to lose the weight in a fast, safe way and it is fantastic for people with alot to lose - could you IMAGINE losing 161 lbs (that's over 11 stone!) by calorie counting alone?
    (Congrats CnQ!)

Cambridge has motivated me into thinking that I CAN actually be slim, my whole life, if I eat healthily.
Funnily enough, calorie counting DOESN'T do that. You have yourself, and only yourself, to motivate yourself - not your counsellor too.

When I 'ate healthily and exercised', I lost 10 lbs then plateaued for weeks, then gave up and ate chocolate. Whereas on Cambridge, I have lost steadily every week, apart from the ones where I ate/drank, and then it was MY fault, and only my fault.

You say they remove our 'crutch' - yes, they do, and they slowly replace it with healthy, low GI eating, provided you follow the maintenance steps properly.

Research the diet before you whinge about it.

I don't need to research it, and I'm not whinging. I'm scared that your "Healthy" weight loss maestros have someone on here posting they were scared they ate a mouthful of tuna. Personal issues and societal issues need to be addressed regards weight and looks. No one should be ripped off for £50 a week because your diet gurus help create a society that states to be slim is to be loved.

It's your life, and yours to do as you please, but 5yrs from now you'll be right back where you started because you haven't addressed your weight gain issues yourself, you allowed a profiteering company to do it for you. The whole world knows if you cut calories you lose weight, you don't have to be ripped off at the same time. Chocolate type bars are not healthy, dehydrated soups are not healthy, and it takes minutes to cook and blitz vegeatables to make your own soup that costs pennies.

I'd like to know if you are or ever have been over weight? If not - then why are you reading this forum? I'm not saying you're not allowed but it's odd if your not over weight why you'd be drawn to read this then make such silly comments.

Please don't preach on things you don't know about by saying we're being mind washed into parting with money, folllowing an unhealthy diet at the end of which we'll put it all back on! How do you know? Please keep your thoughts and comments to yourself and let people who are following the diet and providing support to others get on with it.

Thank for stopping by but please don't call again!!!:T

I'm sorry, at what point did I tell YOU how I have addressed my weight issues?
Cambridge has allowed me to take a step back and let ME analyse MY eating habits. I have happily paid £40/week to take that step backwards (and lose alot of weight at the same time!).

Yes if you cut calories you lose weight, but Cambridge cuts your calories so much that you see a loss, a GOOD loss, without fail, every week.
Calorie counting has never done that for me.

Whinge all you like about 'healthy'; being obese for another 60 years is FAR less healthy than dehydrated soups for a few months, is it not?

Why did you bother coming here if all you're going to do is whinge about Cambridge? (And yes, you are whinging.)
