Well done on the weight losses!! Fabulous!!
Might contemplate doing the CDC bit as I run a therapy clinic anyway and it would fit in quite nicely. I live a few miles away from my CDC so it wouldn't affect her business either.0 -
Aww thanks Stace
I did start SS last Friday - thought i would start on the Friday as it was usually the weekends i cheated on, but i done really well up until this Monday evening. Anyway last Friday when i really started i weight 11 6.5lb and so even with cheating BIG TIME since Monday night i now weigh 11 1.5lb so thats still 5lb lossjust gotta stick to it 110% it just doesnt help having to cook for my family every night, its soooo hard not just to pick whilst im preparing their meals!!
I think what i am gonna do is have the 2 shakes, one for lunch and one for breakfast and then at dinner time have a healthy meal like a chicken salad or something, that way im not starving myself and the weight should still come off right?

morning all xx how everyone finding the diet?0

I know what you mean about cooking dinner for people. I have 3 children and my boyfriend to cook for and its tough, but i make sure i have my 2nd shake around their dinner time and that helps a lot. If you have a healthy meal, you still have to have 3 shakes a day. You have to do this to get all the nutrients you need. But you also should stick to the foods that are reccommended in your CD book. The loss of 5lbs is great still though. I started at 12st 7lbs and am now 11st 10lbs. I want to get to 9st, so were roughly on the same target0

Well done to Cute 'n' Quirky for your loss again this week, I was wanting to know if you work for Cambridge Diet at all, as your knowledge of it all is outstanding, and you seem to be the 'Top Cat' of this thread so to speak. I also want to know if you have ever had something that you shouldn't have had ( apart from your holiday), or have you stuck religiously to the diet i.e just the 3 shakes/tetras each day?
Best wishes to you all

lol a woman after my own heart i'm forever cheating but still loose lol0 -
:rotfl: Hi
Just wanted to pop in and say hi CD totally rocks, I started 10 weeks ago on SS and I have lost 47lbs :j
Keep with it and you will see excellent results.
I started at 16st 2 with a BMI of about 38 my BMI is now 30 - in 10 weeks :j
You cant underestimate the health benefits of this diet, the stuff is so nutritious, I have had one planned meal out (steak and salad) and it was ok!
I started this diet with breathlessness, sleep apneoa all sorts of other nasties I wont go into but now I feel great and even though my BP was always average its dropped to a perfect level now according to the practice nurse.
I have 2 little children and a husband, I dont cook loads as my husband is an ex chef but I do actually enjoy cooking because I dont eat it so I dont fret so much about it if that makes sense, I love to smell it too
Have also been on holiday for a week with friends and stayed on the wagon
If I can do it anyone can
